  1. Know a guy that got burned on the exact same scenario.......you think ebay would spent some of its cash to make a better effort to sniff this crap out.....contact them and let them know about it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  2. choke tube connected (the hose that connects the carbs)?
  3. GO BLUE!!!!!!!!!! Michigan by a zillion.......
  4. My motor got an all expense paid trip to Kansas!!!!!!!!
  5. 50mm. RMATV has them for like $16
  6. Tap on the side of the bowl with a screwdriver handle. This will remedy sometimes. If that doesnt work, take the carb off and flip it upside down. Blow in the gas line. It should not let any air in, if it does your needle/seat has crap in it, is worn out, or your float is WAY out of whack. Take the float/needle/seat apart and give a thorough cleaning with carb cleaner and blow it out with compressed air, if you have it. I hope this helps
  7. Did this start doing this right away after the mods? Did you rejet properly with a plug chop? I know when I put pipes and a filter on my bike I experienced the same symptoms because I had too lean of a main... just a thought...
  8. Welcome back everyone. Hope it wasn't too painful having to surf myspace or youtube or, whatever it was you did when the site was down. Had to join PlanetSand to get my fix!!!!! Just wasnt the same!!!
  9. Finally!! Always wondered wtf a flatbiller was but was afraid to ask. Don't have too many of those guys around here though!!!
  10. Youre sliding it out thru the right side (towards the brake rotor), right? What kind of shape were the bearings in? Play/grinding? Probably getting hung up on what you were figuring...may be fairly inexpensive to unbolt the carrier and take it to a shop with a press.
  11. Why take the fun out of it? Make sure you are comfy with running thru the gears as fast and smooth as possible and race him. Unless your losing sleep over the deal enjoy the anticipation and good luck!
  12. Try to avoid posting when you're hopped up on meth and careful with that shit it is addictive as hell!!!!
  13. Amen!!! The only problem is if Michigan trounced OSU in the Championship game they would be "tied" in the eyes of many people. Should be a killer Rose Bowl, GO BLUE!!!
  14. A little late but how did you fine folks from other parts of the country like watching Michigan's flagship football team? Do you see what fans look forward to watching, week after week, year after year, no matter the draft picks or head coach? Any ideas on how to deprogram one's self from having a favorite team? ::
  15. Oberon is one hell of a brew...too bad its only available in the summer
  16. I'm with you, Dave. Wolverines have always been my favorite college team and I hope they get a chance for the title. It is debatable if they should get a shot at it, but when it's "your" team you tend to be a bit biased!! I sometimes wish I could get myself to NOT like the...ehem... Detroit Lions!!!!! :shoothead:
  17. Beat me to it!!
  18. So 1" bigger in front is the way to go? I thought that judging by the stock setup but I was pondering having some 22" rears at some point for springtime riding or nastier trails, but I dont want to buy another set of front tires just for those special occasions. Wanted to cheat the gap a little but the 20's would stay on the back for the majority of the year.
  19. Thought this was an appropriate forum, I ride mostly trails. Going to shell out some greenbacks for new tires. Going with 20's in back, my question is do I want 21,22, or 23's for the front? Dont know and dont want to buy the wrong size, thanks!!
  20. Have this on my SST's. Rode all summer with this and had no problems with burst hoses or overheating. It is not comforting to know this is going on and I'm sure it doesnt help cooling, but has not posed any problems with my bike. I think most SSTs have this problem, havent heard of it with T5s, though.
  21. Needs more cow bell
