the outer part of the plugs have to be grounded to the head so it complete the circut of the conection. But the kickstart dosnt turn the motor over?

i discoverd it when i was surfing craigslist and found people with banshees with aftermarket pipes who where selling there quads. becasuse the markup on a set of pipes in bluebook is only 50 bucks the sellers of the atv where gladly abole to sell me a set of t5 for $275 and they just put on the stock pipes. i love my new pipes
