Try to find out what headers they are, gnarlys, fattys, ssts, ect. I know the ssts have a little longer stinger so the silencer is shorter. I dont know about the others. See if you can test fit them first, to see if your silencers will still bolt up.

How long of a video can you take with that thing?

I put fmf ssts on and a single k&n with snorkel removed this summer and ended up with a 340 before I got what I wanted on a plug chop. Im at 1000' and it was about 70F outside. That is pretty big for some reason but you could start there and be safe.

Ive had luck using red(high strength) or blue(medium) Loctite. Never used it on those particular bolts, but if holes are clean and youre able to achieve proper tightening torque it should work. The Heli-coil would be ideal, but the loctite is worth a try; thats just my opinion.

Hey Fred, Just tested mine last night with a Matco PSI guage, got 85psi in both. Mine also starts first kick and runs pretty good. Im at about 1000'. My buddy is going to check the calibration on his tester tonight, just to be sure. Just thought I'd throw that out there 'cause I thought I'd have other telltale signs that my compression was that low, poor starting, ect.

Cant remember who (props), but someone had a post with a good idea involving modifying(cutting) your stock airfilter cage and drilling two holes in the upper corners for bolts... cheap and probably works just as well!! :thumb:

Only problem I have wit em is the right side fits tight against the water pump outlet, havent had a burst hose or overheated yet cuz of it. It is so close to the pump/hose connection that I cannot gain any clearance without kinking the hose. Anyone else??? Other than that I cant bitch but I have nothing else to compare them to. My new 520 chain has about 5 hours on it. It seems to have stretched a bit during this time. I made it as short as possible when I installed it and tightened it to spec. It had gained some slack which I took out with the adjusters, but switched back to a 14t front from a 15t and now I have a slack ass chain that needs to stretch about 3/8" before I can take a link out. Is there anyone that sells half-links?

Try an Outerwears filter box cover or a K&N Powerlid. This will help keep the crap out and let it breathe better than the snorkel

Stock motor, pipes, silencers, 340 mains, but nothing that should effect the compression. Elevation is about 600' and its about 55F.

Going to check compression just to see where its at, any comments on what is acceptable and when to rebuild?

One guy on a KTM and the other was on a black and silver CR250. Very cool, everything including backflips. Insane. One of my friends said he was from Iron mountain or felch area. Got a foam pit in his backyard, also has an ambulance for his ride!!!
