  1. Actually I bet that would work pretty well if the fan speed was controlled by the throttle. If I remember correctly it was on/off though. Which means you'd have it off at most times and that big fan is going to restrict air if it isn't blowing.
  2. I've never bent a-arms from jumping before. I've landed hard enough to scrape the frame, but never bent anything. All my arms have been bent from wrecking. My shocks are on the loosest setting so I guess if yours are on the hardest... but wow. The lower ones bent?
  3. My Warrior was falling apart and needed a good bit of change to get back up to spec, so I figured, "With the money I'll have to spend to fix this thing I can get a used Banshee." A friend of mine saw my future Shee in a local shop and told me about it. I looked at it through the window that night, and came back the next day for a closer look. It looked good and the price was right so I asked for a test ride. Dude refused to let me ride it saying they don't let people test ride Banshees. So I went to the bank and got a loan. Then came back the next day with check in hand, so dude let me ride it. I had never ridden a Banshee before so when I started putting around I was like, "this isn't so bad."... then "WEEEEEE!". The powerband kicked in and my ass hit the grab bar. I slowly turned it around, brought it back to the dealer, and handed him the check. Never regretted it since.
  4. Lee banned Brooke for reasons I'm not real clear about. This sparked a big anti-Lee movement. Brooke was unbanned due to popular demand. It kinda created a division of people on Lee's side and people on Brooke's, which caused a few members to leave. The fact is that very few (if any) of us regular members know the whole story so there's no sense getting so upset about something we know very little of.
  5. I've got a 35 on it's way to me. I think the 38 is probably going to be a little large for your setup. You'd probably need a pretty heavily modded motor for the 38 to pull harder than a 35. I'm just going on things I've heard from people here and people I know, but they all seem pretty consistent. It sounds like the 35 is just right for your setup.
  6. Maybe I'm just slow, but I don't see the humor in it.
  7. I just saw the Razr2s for the first time last weekend. Holyman's right, the lugs are extreme. They are at least twice as deep as the originals. Those will probably be what I get next.
  8. After running it wide open in 6th gear for 5-10 seconds and shutting it down quickly?? I think he's talking about stock carbs. Running a single carb has different jet sizes.
  9. I have Diablo II and still play it. I've got 6 characters that are Matriarchs or Patriarchs. It's still so freaking addictive when there's a friend over.
  10. If you ditch the airbox you're gonna have a time with mud and dust. I had the Toomey and switched to the stock airbox. For some odd reason I actually had to go up a jet size for the airbox, I guess it flows better?? If you keep the airbox, get the ProFlow adapter plate. You can always take the lid off and that'll get you another jet size.
  11. www.rockymountainatv.com sells front sprockets for $7. That's a good way to experiment. I just got a 14 tooth from them (had a 13). We'll see later if I start snapping teeth.
  12. FF2 will always be my favorite. During the summer me and a buddy of mine had nothing to do all day and didn't live close to each other. So we started 2 games of FF2 at the same time and went through the whole game while talking to each other on the phone. Actually I think we did that more than once. We loved that game. We also built our characters up to level 99. Looking back on things that sounds kinda lame but it was fun at the time. I've played FF1, 2, 3, 7, Chrono Trigger, Secret of Mana, Secret of Evermore, Tactics, Legend 2, and that old kiddie one where you could jump (forgot the name). We're the old-school FF fanatics! Cecil was da man!... well, when he was a dark knight anyway.
  13. What are the downsides to bumping the compression? Does it sacrifice reliability?
  14. About how long does it take you to get it shaved and sent out?
  15. That's a possibility. But you can only get so much help from old posts. Whenever a new question comes up they need to ask they'll have to pay.
  16. That 38 isn't too big for your bike? Think I can run a 35 with my mods?
  17. Yeah, but don't make it an exclusive site where no one can join unless they pay. We want new people to come. Maybe only charge people who post, but anyone can read. I don't think the fee should be too much either. With as many members as we have, the total will still be pretty high.
  18. Don't you have to run race fuel at that high octane? How much do you shave off for that? I was kinda aiming for about 150psi.
  19. I really dunno. I just posted this message asking that. The guy at Trinity told me the 35 is too big for my setup. How much ya want for the lights?
  20. Sounds like it. What mods do you have done to your bike? Does it seem real rich with the bigger carb?
  21. That's all there is to it? What would that bring the compression up to?
  22. You are wanting a 35mm? I'm buying the 35mm kit from someone now and the 35 might be too big for my setup. I could maybe just swap carbs with ya.
  23. I've got the 35mm CV maifold kit from Trinity on it's way to me with VForce cages. I called up Trinity today for jetting advice and dude said the 35mm was way too big for my bike with stock compression. He said I should really get the head shaved or get an aftermarket one first. I asked if I could run this one in the meantime and he said I could, but it's gonna be fat. He suggested 190 mains and 52 pilots with the following mods: FMF pipes, Vforce cages, timing advanced 2 degrees, aftermarket filter He never asked my elevation and I forgot to tell him, but it's 500 feet. Do ya'll think I can still run it or is it just not gonna be right? Anyone wanna trade a 33mm carb for a 35mm?

    Front Fenders

I'm looking for either purple or yellow front fenders, or black front and rear fenders. Wanting to cut fronts, but would like the option of going back to the Dumbo style.
  25. Running without the lid does give you more power, but if you ride in dusty conditions you better have an extra filter handy. The reason they say you may need to go up one on the mains is because the UNI filter should flow a little more than the stock one. If you are already using a UNI filter, you shouldn't have to change a thing. If you get a K&N you may have to go even richer.
