  1. I've never seen one with the conversion done, yeah I'd like to see a pic. Keep in mind the frame I have is an 87 and doesn't work with the newer Warrior plastic. The 87 and 88 models were different.
  2. Ouch! If your frame is in good shape with no cracks or stripped mounts it would probably be worth it for me, but would it be worth it for you? I'll have to look the frame over again but I don't think it had any stripped holes and I'm pretty sure there were no cracks.
  3. That's a long way to travel from Mississippi. How much does it cost to ship a frame?
  4. I have a red Warrior frame I'm willing to trade for an a-arm style Banshee frame in good shape.
  5. I can't stand the singer dude. BYOB would be awesome without him. He goes from talking in a funky accent to screaming uncontrollably. Their music rocks, but I just can't listen to it with the dumbass vocal guy.
  6. The media does it all the time. lol I wasn't talking about them announcing his address or anything, just the state or possibly the city. I never said anything he was doing is illegal. Why are you getting so defensive... is it you?? Lighten up. I don't entirely blame the guy. He's making a lot of money off the idiots in the world.
  7. I don't see why the media hasn't been all over this. They could investigate and find the name and location of the dude doing this and blab it all over the news. I'm sure that would make him real popular in his neighborhood.

    Headlights

I had an expensive wreck a week ago and one of my headlights was a casualty.

    Front Tires/Rims

I had a crash and need some aluminum front rims and tires. Anyone got any they want to get rid of?
  10. 518KB on a sig image is a BIT extreme. It's pretty damn big too. I feel bad for the people on dialup using 15" monitors.
  11. Does the eDonkey network work along the same lines? I've been using eMule for quite some time with good results, but haven't tried torrents. Which do ya'll prefer?
  12. I got one used on Ebay for about $100 a couple years ago.
  13. I could host it practically for free. He can get the domain name from Godaddy for $9/year and just contribute a little to the server-side apps on my end and it's good to go. I don't have much bandwidth, but it would be adequate. I'm currently hosting www.geekitup.net. Meat, just PM me if you're interested.
  14. I just got a Cannondale and have put about 1 good weekend of riding on it. I know it's not quite the same as a YFZ450, but still... I'd take it on the MX track before the Shee any day. The new technology it today's quads makes all the difference. It just feels more comfortable. Now on gravel roads or wide open areas, the Banshee still rules. I would say make the trade, but it really depends on the type of riding you do. If you just want to hit jumps from time to time, upgrade the suspension and hit it! I've hit jumps (well... one jump) on my Shee that my buddy on his 450r won't. It just takes more effort to hit a jump correctly on a Shee.
  15. I'll host the 1.8MB one for ya. Email it to kevin@geekitup.net.
  16. How big is the vid? If it's under a couple meg I'll host it for ya. PM me if ya want.
  17. I'm not sure about the parts, I guess I'll find out as I need em. A local shop here used to be a Cannondale dealer so I'm sure he knows how to get the parts. He still owns one. Mine still isn't running (idiot who put the motor together had the timing off and I bent some valves), but I rode one setup like it last weekend. There's no comparison on bottom end power. You don't have to rev up as much as on a YFZ or R, but this thing will rev out to over 11k RPMs. All that low end power may come at a sacrifice for top speed, but I'm not real concerned about that. I have a Banshee for 70+mph riding. The Cannon is more for woods and tracks.
  18. I bought the Cannondale, but can't ride it. I went through all the trouble of swapping motors in it and the rebuilt motor won't turn over. To make a long story short I'm going to bring it to a friend's shop and we're going to tear into the motor. I tell ya... getting a motor in and out of those bad boys ain't an easy task! Anyway, I rode a friend of mine's Blaze Saturday and loved it. It's way torquer (is that a word?) than a 450r or YFZ in my opinion.
  19. Couldn't hurt. I wanna see once you do it.
  20. I thought about getting a pipe just the right diameter and running it between the sides, but then I don't see a way to get to the mounting bolts.
  21. More teeth on the front sprocket means more top speed, less teeth on rear accomplishes same thing. I doubt if anyone can really tell you what size sprocket you'll like best. You should probably just buy a 15 and see how you like it. If you like popping wheelies try a 13, but it'll pull you down in a drag race. You can get a sprocket from RMATV for less than $10 shipped.
  22. Actually I've been contemplating building a ramp as well. A friend of mine came up with the idea. He wants to build a ramp on a trailer (or build a ramp and slap wheels on it) so we can just haul to wherever there is a good downhill landing and hit it. We ride on a lot of public land and dirt work isn't really an option.
  23. Are you sure that's a 98? It has the 95 plastic.
