  1. Ignore these guys. If you really like her, there is alot more to it then getting your dick wet. If she doesn't like you the way you like her, it'll take some time to get over her. Crushes come and go. It's a part of growing up. Live it up now while you can. There is plenty of time to get your dick wet with someone you don't care about.
  2. pods are cheaper and much easier to work with though. I hate the stock air box especially since I went up to the dual 34's. I ordered these yesterday. cheap pod filters link
  3. Every true banshee owner has been down the same road as you are going down right now. Don't let these guys tell you it's your fault for not maintaining it. That's a bunch of bull shit. I can't wait till one of their lower rod bearings goes out and they get to hear it's your fault for not maintaining it. The banshee has it's quirks for sure. And there have been many times where I hated the damn bitch. All these guys in here act like it's the most reliable thing they have ever owned, and for the most part mine has been reliable, but I've spent hours fucking with the carbs, misplacing crap and not ever finding it (which I guess is my own fault, but if I didn't own the bitch, there would be nothing to misplace.), spending money trying to make her look attractive cause some guys with nothing better to do than pimp out there banshee's and post pics on this site and make you feel bad about your ride, and all the other bull shit involved in owning a banshee. I don't care if that last sentence was a run on. Come to think of it, the only real reason why I own a banshee is cause I'd be dead if I owned a dirtbike and I hate four strokes with a passion. Well there is my vent. Owning a banshee is a curse. Your fucked if you own one and fucked if you don't cause it's never fast enough, well suspended enough, pretty enough, or it's broke down and your buying shit to make it run again. If you don't own one, your getting past by some spoiled kid on a brand new 450. Both of the above suck equally unless you are you got both time and money for banshee crap.
  4. -2 swinger really sucks out there. what kinda 60 ft. times did you get with that setup?
  5. it's been awhile since I've been out there. been really busy lately. what kinda times does that stage 4 run blake?
  6. Those are pretty good 60ft times. I'd imagine it would be alot harder/nearly imposible to get those sorta times with a stock length street bike. Best I can pull on my stock length banshee is a 1.95. Man an extended swinger would be nice. Drag strips hook so much harder than regular asphalt, there is almost no point in practicing on the street in front of my house.
  7. In that case, we got a few local banshees that could take you. What kinda 60ft. times do you get on the two wheeler?
  8. what the hell is the definition of a woods port anyway? I guess you could remove the casting flaws around the transfer tunnels, clean up the intake port some, work with the transfers angles some (there is a ton to be gained here), widen the exhaust port some and get to 57 hp and have more bottom end power than stock. you wouldn't even need a degree wheel to do something like that. seems like a pretty potent combo actually. I'd like to see the dyno chart st and see what kinda rpm it's turning. or at least what rpm peak torque was produced at and the rpm at which peak horsepower was produced. shearer pipes on an engine with stock or near stock timing won't work well as others though. t5's are probably the ticket on this motor.
  9. kinda weird how no one has even mentioned what kinda times were ran at the 1/8th mile track you were racing at. most the piped only banshee's run low 9's @ upper 60mph range. not anywhere near fast enough to take down a 600 with even a shitty rider.
  10. when my lower rod bearing went out, my banshee just sorta sputtered to a stop. It didn't really show any symptoms earlier that day. It was running normal. After repeated drag races though, it finally gave out. I made it about halfway down the strip where I was racing and then it started to bog like one of the spark plug caps came loose. It didn't lock up, but it did not want to turn over like it used to. that's when I knew something was wrong.
  11. Something to ponder here. The stock carb on the trx250r is a 34mm pj. They sell for under $50 on ebay all the time. Perhaps you could buy two and make them work for a twin cylinder application such as the banshee.
  12. 50 a hole here for the bore and the works.
  13. Chad, Ricky, Bubba, Travis, and Jeremy are all on two strokes. I think it's safe to say a two stroke will be taking 1st place on the podium this year. Hell two strokes might round out the top three spots on the podium this year. Talk about going out with a bang.
  14. throw on a 14 tooth up front.
