    You can not just take off your airbox lid unless you like to rebuild your engine.Acording to you you said STOCK BIKE so the airbox lid holds your filter in place.You will either have to get a proflow kit or clamp on filters.And yes if you do take the lid off you will have to go richer in the jetting.

    I got one off my 06 'shee it is the silver matalic from the factory not black.I don't have a cable for it unless you are runing a single carb set up.P.M me if you're interested. :beer:

    Blaster would be a good choice.For my 12 year old daughter I bought her a 660 raptor.Now before you guys say wtf she is 5'10" at 12 years old so a blaster was already going to be small for her.The raptor also has a limiter on the throtle so that was not a issue.

    Check your spark plug boots.Sounds like they are causing the concern by letting the spark travel down the outside of the plug to ground via water sitting around the plugs.

    Take the pilot jet out of the carb and clean it out.It's pluged with something.carb cleaner and air.Thats why it runs at more then 1/2 throttle and not below.

    If you over paddle you will actually end up going slower.You will be wasting forward momentum with wheelies.8 paddle haulers will be perfect with your current setup.Gear it so you can launch in second gear and get the front tires to just float on the sand.

    You will be fine.I run all the stock electronics on my 06 and it runs without concerns.

    Jared, Thats to bad but like you said atleast you work in a machine shop.I watched the vid of it and it sounded like it was lean seizing on the last one that you had mentioned it didn't qiute sound right.alky does some wierd shit when its that cold outside.I like it with the 06 plastic on it way better. :beer:

    Matt, Set the gap to .023 on the plugs. Dave, I forgot to tell him about the plug color and the power band lol.I think I forgot to give him the super dupper power band.It's still in my house..

    I have not seen any in my neck of the woods as of yet.With all the atc's and atv's I have had I could of opened one up though. ::

    I second that on the pilots.Also you may want to try a 1.8 air jets in those stock carbs(1.6 is stock).It will richen up mid and top a little.

    Gap the plugs at 23 if you are using the 20cc domes. DON'T forget the pin bearings that would be bad!!!! Make sure you paint the new plugs black.RED = 5 hp increase while the black = 8 hp increase. :beer:

    Dave LOL,That was my bike.So I'm not to worried about runing him,All though that damn thing was fast.Matt got some weight over me though.As the old saying goes never sell your friends a more powerfull weapon. :thumbsup:
