  1. Matt,When I say heat cycles I don't mean let the thing idle.Ride it with diferent throttle positions even going wide open is ok just don't keep it there for long periods of time.Find some place where you can get up some speed and down shift one gear and let the throttle off so the engine can create vacuum in the cylinders,Then shut it off and let it completely cool.Do this a few times and then ride it normally for about a half tank and then leter rip.
  2. If I was in your position and wanting to do what you're wanting to do I would go with the P.V setup.More usable power then the cub:IE-braoder powerband then the cub.I have a cub now and I did have a P.V and the P.V. was alot of fun to ride on open trails and dunes with the acasional race.My .02 cents.
  3. Matt,I did three heat cycles and went threw a half a tank of gas and then went to the mountain.Had no problems with it for 1 1/2 years till I put the wrong fuel in it.
  4. Happy B-day guys.Man I really feel old.
  5. It's a scam,Get them all the time too.
  6. Yeah it save fuel and less smoke by gloging the fuel screen!WTF :shoothead:
  7. Do you want V-2's or V-3's?
  8. Unplug the conecter that runs from the clutch/e-brake perch down the handle bars.
  9. Here's a few sugestions t check. 1.choke tube in place? 2.slides in the correct carb? 3.float bowls on the correct carb? 4.check for air leaks.
  10. Ending today...Bump
  11. Matt I use the PRO HONDA spray cleaner & polish. It's in a black and light red can at your local honda dealer. It works great on plastic and removes swirl marks too from washing the plastic.
  12. jfigster, Here is my take on this,You want more power but don't want to spend alot of $$.Here is another option for you,Get a 358 cc cub set up.Stock crank stock size domes and way more power then spending all that money on a 4 mil crank and geting the stock cylinders set up for it.You all ready have the pipes and the stock carbs will work with the 358 cub set up.
  13. :yelrotflmao: Matt,You might as well pay less now or a lot later!
  14. 364 CC's or 22 C.I.
  15. Exactly,BUT I never end mine untill I have the money in my account.Your choice thou.
  16. Just give him your paypal addy and then once you see payment has been recieved iether cancel bids or end with him as the high bidder.
  17. To bad you're so far away.Use my 06 and shut his mouth
  18. Sorry but you would be suprized how many I get that have them in backwards. I guess next would be to list what mains, pilots and needle positon you have now. Also make sure you don't have a air leak.IE=base gaskets intake gaskets crank seal either side and do a compression test. Really you need to do a engine pressure test on it to verify leaks though.
  19. Did you put the choke cross over hose back in?Also slides in the correct way? Also hate to say it but did you put the pistons in backwards?
  20. Sounds like your carbs are out of sink.Set your air screws the same and sink your slides.
  21. Matt, Are you all excited!!!!Can't wait!!!!LOL Also you got the shifter way to high.
  22. I have found that on stock style cylinders you will be a tad richer in the pilot to needle crossover spot but the main and needle will be about the same in fuel ratio.
  23. Check if you put the float bowls on the wrong carbs. Also I see you have a lightend flywheel,It may be coming apart internally.Something to check  I will remember you said that!!!
  24. Yeah 397cc beat me to it
  25.
