  1. FWIW, he is running a Serval now.
  2. Here's his mod list from his profile. 04 Banshee, Polished Serval, Hotrods Crank, Trinity Pistons and IV Cool Head/21cc Domes, R2 Pipes, Pro-Design Intakes, Outerwears Air Box Lid, Pro-Design Intakes/Boost Bottle, Boyesen Power Reeds/Billet Reed Cages/Spacers, 32mm Mikuni TM Carbs INTEL-A-JET Fuel Induction System, Driveline Clutch, Full Dyna-Tek Ignition, Upgraded Suspension and Cooling System and so much more!!!
  3. Now that's some funny shit, but I understand. I'll order one anyway.
  4. I have 2008 YFZ450R calipers and MC on my 2002 Banshee. I have Fireball LT +2.5+1 a-arms and a Fireball +2+1 steering stem. Anyone know long a 2 line front brake line kit needs to be to handle the increased width and height? I keep hearing 54". Can anyone help me out or does anyone know who to call?
  5. Pretty damn clear to me, thanks for throwing that little tid bit of info out there!
  6. I'll look into it this weekend, hopefully Friday night. JD, can you get one of the hide-a-key brackets out to Ca by Friday?
  7. That is an option, but I like having the key as a form of security. I do like the idea of the hide-a-key, just don't know the in's and out's of getting the key to that location.
  8. Sweet! So is it as simple as just unwrap the tape and get the slack needed to make it fit? I hate wiring and have several uselss plugs hanging empty all over the place. How do I get rid of the useless plugs on the harness? Does Cory float grounds on stock stators for DC Conversions?
  9. Hey JD, what exactly needs to be done to the wiring in order to run that hide-a-key bracket?
  10. You got it man! That's how I do business. Thanks for the feedback!
  11. ps, don't listen to these fags talk shit about your intro. They're just jealous they can't write like you, I wished I could. Tip on the search function. You see the green box at the right end of the search bar, click it. From there you'll be able to do an advanced search with quotes, search by titles or what have you. And I'm sure you already know from other enthusiasts forums, thick skin is required.
  12. Holy shit, you have no idea how dangerously close my story is to yours, right down to same Suzuki Quad Sport but his was white and blue my other buddy had the Warrior and unfortunately I lost my best friend/riding buddy too, 20 days after we graduated in 93. I so sorry about your friend man. The big C is no fucking joke. I read every single word. I'm very impressed with your writing skills. I suck at writing, but I hope get my point across. I'm already looking forward to reading more nostalgic stories! Welcome to the HQ Brian, aka, BrokeVW! Killer Fuckin Intro!
  13. Did you make sure the air jets at 6 o'clock in this image were clean? image.jpg
  14. Oh yeah, that's right, his motor quit running on him. It almost sounds like the motor is not drawing fuel into the motor? OP, have you pulled the reeds out to inspect them?
  15. Looks like he switched to OG Rockets. I'd like to see some CPI's and/or Snipers on a Redline ported Serval running 33mm PWK's.
  16. I don't understand your question/statement.
  17. Your pilot jets are too small. This is exactly why I've been asking you to post your jet sizes. We could have told you this long ago. Airscrews all the way in = pilot too small. Airscrews more than 2.5 turns out = pilot too big. Did you put the carbs back on yet? If so, seat the airscrews, but do not over tighten them, give it a kick with the choke fully pulled, it might start. If not, pull the carbs again and get yourself some 27.5 Banshee specific pilot jets and turn the airscrews out 2 turns and give it a kick.
  18. I have a complete 2 into 1 carb set-up from the cylinders back to a new outerwear on the new k&n filter. The throttle is a twist and cable is too. The carb is a Keihin 34mm PJ. PM me if you're interested.
  19. OP, if you don't know how to do a leak down test, here are some links. http://bansheehq.com/forums/index.php?app=core&module=search&section=search&do=search&fromsearch=1 http://bansheehq.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=110585&hl=%2Bleakdown
  20. We are all still waiting for these numbers. Why haven't you pulled these jets out of the carbs yet? You obviously need fuel to get it started. Take the seat off and take a picture of the carbs. Take the airbox off and take a picture of the carb slides. Take pictures of both carbs from each side. Are you sure the carbs slides are in the correct body? Are you sure the carbs are sync'd?
  21. A cub on stock carbs? How'd that turn out? OP, did your motor pass a leak down test?
  22. cause that extra 100# of meat is loading that bitch up... call your engine builder and ask him where your jetting should be after break-in. 30 pilots needle clip middle groove 330-350 mains
  23. I'm not looking to separate the kit unless you offer me what I'm looking for. PM me if you want to discuss further.
  24. I launch my 280# fat ass in 2nd all day with a bolt on stock motor and my gearing is 14/41, but I am on 20x10x10 old school 8 paddle sand skate II's, (v-paddles for all you young stars)... 400 mains has to be incorrect. What's your plug chop look like? It's gotta be black and about 4mm thick. I'd guess you need to be in the 330-340 main range. Not sure why your needle is fattened up too.
