  1. Check your slides, they could be backwards. The cutout is supposed to be facing the rear of the bike.

  3. +8??? THAT IS WAY TOO HIGH!!!! Especially when you should be running race fuel. Nock it down to a +5 (maximum) and then raise your octane. Mixing 50/50 of 91 and 113 works great on my friends 189 compression.
  4. I've been using it for about 6 months now. Its supposed to be 40:1 but i go 36:1 just to keep it rich
  5. You mean gain top end with larger dual carbs and gain low/mid with 2 to 1 pipes? I don't think it works like that, does it? The builder i go to doesn't encourage that.
  6. Looks good. You should clean them up as much as you can and make sure every surface is polished. You should feel the difference if you replace the stock pedals with some boysen or vito's.
  7. I have the same problem. My right crank seal is bad and i'm loosing my tranny oil. I just found this out.
  8. A +6 would be good. I have a +7 and dunning is fucken great even though i mostly drag.

  10. I do electrical service all around the Los Angeles area and there is small companies that are really being hurt by this. The larger ones that i do service for just shut down for the day. They produce about a million dollars of product per day. Believe it or not one day without immigrants can really hurt the books and make a ding in the economy. I took the day off too, my work cell is off and i had 4 voicemails last time i checked. The immigrants that were told they would be fired for not showing up are fucking up the machines they work on.
  11. I'm guessing its my crank seal on the right. What else should be done at the same time. Splitting the cases ain't easy for me and its gonna take me a while to get the seals changed. What am i gonna need besides the seals? please list.
  12. +4 is what most people go with. You have to read your plugs after ANY mods or changes. It take time to get it right but you can avoid another lean out. Make sure you leak down test and look for any other problems that could have caused that.

  14. I know around here, so cal, skat trac dealers can take the tire under warranty and give you a brand new one. Try that.
  15. I'm hearing that the lungz system is the shit. I'm looking around to get some soon, but i wanna make sure they will work with some 33's. Lungz with k&n's.
  16. just tried it. It made my shiny blacked pipes into really shiny blacked pipes.
  17. i usually just polish my pipes but i noticed that they were getting darker and darker with each ride. I raised my main one size and now i want to clean my pipes. I have the chrome t5's. I just spent about 2 hours making my dull black pipes into shiny black pipes with polish and steel wool. I even tried the mothers polishing ball.
  18. The 10 incher is off of ebay. The 7 incher is an extended stocker. I had my shop neighbor do it for me. Its the second one he does for me.
  19. What kind of port work is it and what kind of riding do you do?
  20. You can go as big as you want. The carbs will just be limiting the output of the engine. I just got a full drag port on my cyl and i have stock carbs. It hauls ass and i know the potential for more power is there, i just have to get bigger carbs.
