  1. I found my left reeds to be loose too. It got ugly when i ripped everything apart. The left piston melted onto the rod. I kicked myself in the ass......HARD!
  2. Its all my fault i was trail riding without retorquing my head and dirty ass filters. The drag port didnt help either.
  3. Sounds like your slides are backwards or your jets are clogged.
  4. I got my porting done at gassrx (gassrx.com) and it rips ass. He can do any style of porting and im sure its gonna be some quality work. I won the work on ebay for $100 and he still made it a $450 port. He also knows his shit enough to where he told me how to jet my bike for the port. Sick with it!!!
  5. If it has to be one or the other, go with the welded crank.
  6. The only thing i gained was a piece of crap that cracked my boots and costed me a top end. WOW!!!!!
  7. The carb was completely taken apart and cleaned. The clutch is working fine. I'm gonna try the mods that duneroller hooked it up with. And see what happens. Thanks for replying guys.
  8. My brother just bought a lt50, 2stroke, for my nephew and we took it out for a spin and it had NO balls. My 40lb nephew was on it and it would bogg when reved and go nowhere. I took the carb apart and found that the float was stuck in the down position and the main jet was clogged. Now the bike revs fine when the rear wheels are lifted off the ground but when my nephew gets on it has trouble taking off still. If i give it a push it takes off and jams pretty fast so its just that low end it has trouble with. If you guys have any ideas what it could be, please let me know. Air filter has been cleaned, Old 2cycle drained and replaced with yamalube2r, gas is fresh 91, and the carb is completely clean. ******Where can i buy jets for this bike????
  9. You ready to show the case matching work now?
  10. After its all back together do compression check. That will tell you what octane you can run. With that mill you should be ok at 91 still, but CHECK TO MAKE SURE.
  11. USE THE SEARCH BUTTON.
  12. I have one and drag the shit out it everyweekend. Still a strong grab. I used all heavy duty springs.
  13. split the case and do the seals. You'll thank us later.
  14. i'm border line with 21's at 159psi in both of my cylinders. Runs fine on 91.
  15. Im running motul 800 at 40:1 on 91 and it hauls ass. Huge difference in power when compared to yamalube. Yamalube r is sort of a common reference that other riders i know use.
  16. T6's respond shitty to porting. Later when you port your bike you will definatley kick yourself in the ass....hard.
  17. I had the same problem when i extended my swingarm. I was going crazy looking for a half link and had no luck. i left my chain with the extra link that made it loose and rode it a few hours. The chain stretched enought after a day on the dunes to cut the link off and adjust it properly. The other way is to take the carrier off and make the adjustment slots longer on the swingarm. Grab a dremel and shave the slot towards the front of the bike in the same angle. i did this on a friends bike and can get pictures if you really need them.
  18. my bike is extended 7" and my rear feels pretty weak. How could i test the shock to see if its bad or the spring is worn? How about the front? When i push down on the right side theres a limit to how far down it goes and the left side goes in way farther. Whats good and whats bad, how can i tell.
  19. I have a +7 and i had to inflate my haulers to 20psi for the extra spin. Sand grabs to damn hard to drag on a +4.
  20. Looks like a good excuse to buy a prodesign.
  21. My intake boots cracked, it costed me a top end.
  22. I would say yes, you have to have idt trued and welded. My crank split and i had to buy a new one that was already trued and welded. It was EXPENSIVE!!!!
  23. They are supposed to create a tunnel to let are flow better like the lungz bullshit. I took them off of my bike because they didnt help, but when i got my bike ported i threw them back on after a few rides and they made a small difference in acceleration.
  24. When i put mine on i stuck the o-rings to the head with a little grease and put a tiny amount of hight temp silicon on the studs before i bolted it down. 35 lbs for the torque.
