  1. My bike has been setup for sand drags for the last year and at sand drags i kick ass but today i went to el mirage and my bike did not impress me. I was bearly taking out piped yfz and other unported banshees.
  2. sounds like a bad cranks seals or a problem with the spark just not getting there. I've been through both of those.
  3. I got a set for my brother and one for my neighbor, the only difference is that they are a little heavier. They hook up really nice. The material is a bit stiffer so i think they will outlast teh og haulers.
  4. OK, i tried the 15/41 and i was kickin ass. I was takin out those stoopid 700r's. Then i got into some really soft sand for drags and my bike kept boggin on take off. Trying a 15/42 next week. and then a 15/42, i'll let you guys know how it turns out.
  5. I beat those 700's this weekend. I got about a quad length on a 300' strip. I just put a 15 tooth sprocket in front and my top end is crazy!!! Smooth start and super strong finish.
  6. Looking for a rear setup for this bike i just got. Where can i get this? Its a 14" wheel right now and theres no room to go any bigger.
  7. Sounds right to me. I have a bike with 189compression on 19cc domes. It did puzzle me for a while but the bike runs fine.
  8. Im looking for the hardware to mount a stock carrier to the stock swinger. I need the 2 bolts and the nuts and the washers. I'll take a pair of chain tensioners too because i lost 1 when all this happened.
  9. I started bending it straight again today and ended up getting mad and smashing the shit out of it. I called a local cycle salvage shop and im getting one for 20 bucks tomorrow. I thought it was gonna be way more. Thanks for replys.
  10. The tires are 22x12x8 10 paddle haulers. I tried dropping the pressure to 6psi but the top speed was missing. Im gonna try going a 14/41 next week and see what happens. What would the difference be with a 15/41, i might try that instead.
  11. 320 sounds way lean. Better to start rich and then work your way down, plugs are cheaper than pistons. I'm guessing something like a 350.
  12. I hit a rock and bent my rear rotor a few months ago. I hammered it back into place but everytime i take the bike for a spin i have to bend it back again. Is the rotor just a lost cause already? or is there a way to really fix it?
  13. I rebuilt my clutch mechanism finally and took the bike out for a few races and noticed that my bike spins the haulers way to easy. I was running up against yfz with holeshots on very very soft sand. The yfz would jump off the line before me. Is my swinger too long? My gearing is 13/41 and i weigh 220.
  14. Same thing happened to a friend of mine twice before he realized that his exhaust port was way too wide.
  15. I wouldn't recommend changing just one piston. Change them both to new ones and dont worry aout the weight. Did you measure them both without piston rings? david
  16. Porting the stock reed cages doesn't really work until you have a heavily built motor. I tried it, I couldn't tell the difference.
  17. E BAY. Nice screen name.
  18. Check out this light. I put it on about a year ago and have had no problem.
  19. The half time show blew completley. The commercials sucked this year, i cant beleive federline had the best commercial this year. The game was great though. Commentary on cbs always sucks!
  20. I seen that bike on ebay. I got just the 2007 r6 led taillight on the back of mine. Just mounted it with a thin peice of bent flatbar. Looks great and have not had a problem since i put it in.
  21. Dont start it in gear and check your clutch adjustment. Make sure that the arrow on the clutch arm and the case line up.
  22. OH...i see. Those are some really nice tits.
  23. nope. Thats yucaipa, i think. The wash is just a riverbed that only has a small stream running through it.
  24. Well, if you have to be cutting peices of your old filter off to fit your new filter, it dont sound like a good set up. The intake is to sensative to dirt, sand, or water getting in there and silicone is not the best glue. If you want to keep the airbox with or without the lid its best to go with the prodesign adapter and the oval k&N filter. If you can do without the box then the best setup would be the k&n independent filters. Shop around and check your options. Dont rig it, a small error could cost you alot. Remember to rejet.
  25. Where could i get the ceramic ball and pancake bearing? I also need the clutch arm and new pushrods i you guys know where i could get all this for cheap.
