  1. i am an inventory reduction specialist for Anheuser-Busch
  2. My cub cylinders dont have any less bottom end than a set of oem cylinders. And even more so with the extra 4mm of stroke. What makes it seem like the bottom end is so non existant is the "light switch" powerband. It is a lot more abrupt and violent than with your oem cylinder. The cubs are also a bit more tempermental than the stockers but that is to be expected with anything that is custom and aftermarket. with that being said, I think the cub cylinders are awesome. You would definately need to do an upgrade on your clutch and install a pingle valve as the cubs love to eat the fuel.
  3. be a dick and post em up. this is the roost room. i will start. that michael jackson fella. i find all of the sig's he has ever used are just down right god damn annoying.
  4. with your mods in your sig you should see a bit more midrange and top end. those are both great pipes. i actually prefered the shearers over the cpis when i had my dune ported engine.
  5. i think when the first big bore raptor was introduced, it was supposed to eventually take the banshee's place in the yamaha sport quad line up.
  6. ouch....my watermelon felt like it had a crown on it.
  7. i think you need to have a valid driver's license to get your motorcycle endorsement. for the motorcycle part, you will have to take a written and riding test. looks like your biggest problem will be getting your bike to the dmv to take the test. they will frown on you big time if you ride it down there to take your test.
  8. i went to hobby lobby and bought a sq/yd of the crushed velvet and had my ol' lady stretch it over the seat. i trimmed the foam down with an electric fillet knife. you can then go back over the trimmed foam with an air sander to smooth it out.
  9. word.... :geek: isnt that what firehead usually posts?
  10. i made a bracket out of 1"X1" aluminum angle and mounted my CDi on it behind the gas tank. just plug it directly into the stator and shorten the rest of your harness as needed. i have been running mine in this configuration for over 6 months with no issues.
  11. didnt you tell me you liked hanna montana?
  12. thanks for the rear shock, jeff.
  13. i wish i still had my dune ported cylinders. i've been very pleased with all the work jeffery has done for me. he does a pretty good job of making us fat guys go fast. lol
  14. hmm.... first i ever heard of that. your source of information sounds flawed to me. they must be using battery acid or something more corrosive as coolant. those billet impellers are made out of aluminum just like the cylinders and the radiators in our banshees. seems like all of those parts would "flake" away at the same time.
  15. it is a modified transmission. the gears are cut and the shift drum is also modified. the only con i can think of with the override is wearing out your shift forks. well worth it in the long run imo.
  16. what you have on a decent rear shock and all the linkage to go with it?
  17. id throw some shearers on that cub engine. they compliment that explosive light switch powerband perfectly.
  18. did you drop something in the case while you were working on your clutch? why dont you pull the clutch cover off and give it a good look over? its not hard to do.
  19. can those carbs be used without the fuel pump? or will the needle and seats have to be changed?
  20. not to my knowledge. i know right now with my override, it shifts so easy and smooth that i barely have to touch the shifter to put it in gear.
  21. just pull the clutch. i had better luck with just a modded shift shaft. just my opinion but i liked the way it shifted better than the modded star and shift peg. duneable override is really the way to go.
  22. so who has the cheapest port job and quickest turn around time?
  23. i made myself a bracket and mounted the cdi on the back of the gas tank. also, you can shorten your harness and plug your cdi directly into the stator.
  24. yes i will.
