  1. I use the Holeshots, but find them to soft for aggressive trail, my all time favorite is the GBC shredders, they are now called ground buster 2's and look similer to a hloeshot HD, The GBC's have wicked traction and don't wear down fast at all, nor are they like a hockey puck.
  2. they want to match the case to the transfer ports, where the intake charge that is pushed below the piston is pushed up either side of the con rod up the side of the cylinder to above the piston. Hard to explain if you've never seen insid the motor.
  3. Interested in shifter, may I have a pic please
  4. YEP, Will Farrel IS the man
  5. ...as common as beat up factory domes. Go ahead & install your crank, the galing won't make one bit of differance.
  6. How thick dose it end up being all said and done, do you have to remove material around motor mounts etc. how do you touch it up? I have also had friends with bad luck with powder coating, like runs, chipping on several occasions, feul taking off the shine, etc., I've found on the bars under the seat it gets prety worn, almost as much as the factory paint, except you can't touch up PC. :ermm:
  7. Razors & holeshots wear pretty fast, they are a MX tire with gummie compound. The best wearind tire I ever used was a GBC shredder...they call themsomethin else now, but awsome tire!
  8. Douglas beadlocks...done me well, I love them
  9. Great info Ben, I often wondered if the 450 spindles would work, I also wonder how or if Raptor spindles would work, they are also aluminum.
  10. It's only worth as much as someone is willing to pay. I see them on ebay all the time with basic mods for $15-2200.
  11. god tires, and suspension, othere than that, raised compression & advanced timing works well for little money.
  12. I've seen a 1/4 scale gas R/C truck with a LTZ400 yellow body from a Walmart special on it, it was at a local hobby shop last year.
  13. LOL don't hate the player, hate the game
  14. ^^^got this info from Ben last year and did it to my tranny, works awsome!

  18. Well said, some of us have "the feel" for it, I say giv'er, you'll do fine. Check out McDizzy's 2 stroke page, there is alot of info on there on some of the software available, as well a cylinder port mapping. Good luck to you
  19. while motor mods are nice, if I did it all again I start by gettin the power to the ground, upgrade the suspesion and get a good set of tires, alter the gearing and the bike will be faster for a whole different reason. The timing plate is a cheap mod as well as a set of TDR reeds on ported cages, you can also mill down your stock head to raise the compression while still runing pump gas. Enjoy & welcome to HQ!
  20. the 450 calipers bolt right on the banshee, i have had a set on for over a year now....awsome upgrage
  21. Take the cylinders to a local machine shop, have them honed to the next size to make them straight with proper clearance, and put in a fresh set of Wiseco forged pistons & rings...problem solved and cheaper then buying used pistons here, used topends there and not knowing what condition they are really in. Do it once & do it right and problems will be gratly minimized!
  22. A good old vernier will do the trick. :geek:
