  1. Sounds good just from reading it
  2. I usually change mine when ever i think i should. But usually after 5 or so rides. Have you decided what fuel ratio you are going to use?
  3. What all are you swapping over? Is it an already rolling chasis or are you swapping every single thing. And i'm pretty sure you will not need and special tools. Pretty much everyone has had their quad down to the frame and then put it back together. And no need for any special tools, well i didnt use any specials ones. I just finished putting like 3/4 of mine together this morning with a friend and it took like 2 hours. Mostly just got to make sure you remember how everything is placed, etc and away you go.
  4. Doesn't know what he is talking about :baseball_whistle:
  5. Thanks Dajogejr  I just have a pair of used carbs sitting around that are in a lot better shape than my stockers. I was changing to jets around and noticed these wernt in there :baseball_bat:
  6. Awesome  Glad to see you are beating those fo fiddies
  7. Just wondering if i need #18 in my carbs. And what does it do?....(Down on the right hand side)
  8. And taking the snorkle off the airbox will cause the engine to get more air, causing it to run lean, or better if you are too rich all the way through
  9. If you are going to lower your Shee. You'll have to be more cautious going through them, like for rocks, roots, anything to catch on(unless you have skid plates). And you wont be able to go through mud as good as if you where stock, due to lowering everything so it will "catch" on the mud at a lower height. So you wont be able to go through deep mud.
  10. I suppose. And then again iv gone out mudding anyways and was covered no matter what i did, so a little more mud can't hurt Im not going to cut them right off just curve them differently.
  11. Hey, just wondering from everyone that has cut their rear plastics, either right off or made a design, angled them differently, etc. Has had much difference from rocks, mud, water, dirt, anything coming up and getting more on you? If its not that much im going to cut them  Dinner

  13. Yup goes up into the T-Fixture
  14. I Agree  Make it the way you want it. Check out the "Let's See You Banshee's" thread and take a look at all the different kinds of colours out there. Good luck
  15. Could be your Crank Case Gasket, letting some oil drip in and getting burnt up. Is it at idle, or like idle all the way to WOT?
  16. Same  I usually try to be in the powerband before i start climbing a hill. If not, then ill clutch it near the bottom so i'm in the high RPM's going the rest of the way
  17. Yea, give it a few years...10,20 years. And all us guys and gals with our Banshee's will be riding around, passing all the 4 pokes, and they'll come up to us asking if that is a next year model
  18. I'd think that you are REALLY rich if its cutting out and not gaining revs. What does your spark plug look like? Is it really wet and black?
  19. No kidding I'm running 22" and thats pretty big, well to me anyways
  20. I'm not sure what length of chain you will need. The other guys and gals will pitch in and help. But your gearing isnt going to have a different effect with and extended swinger. If thats what you are asking? You'll just need to run a longer chain.
  21. Should it be right tight(no play) or a little bit of play?
  22. Mine have also done the same(stock carbs), but i was also got her going and out riding her in heavy fog. I took the slides out, dried them up, and it ran great, until they got wet again. So i just dont go out when its really wet/foggy out.
  23. It doesn't run well when at idle? Mine had the same problem and that was because it was too rich at idle(floats where screwed up) so i fixed those and it went away. Also make sure that your pilot is not too high and you are jetted accordingly. What are your mods and your elevation, temperature, and your jetting now?
  24. Welcome aboard the HQ!
  25. lol I just changed my clutch also and its still apart so ill just wait until i get the seal
