  1. Maybe i should tell my friend with an 06 450ER to not fiddle with his quad. He says that when you get the HRC kit or whatever..to raise and extra 1000 RPM you just have to cut a green wire. So maybe ill tell him that he shouldn't cause his valve's can't handle it...orr let it blow up :shrug: :laugh:

Its basic Diesel knowledge :shoothead: Did you know that when your EGT gets really high(make sure its over like 1500 continously) in a turbo diesel it will actually allow the turbo to spool a hell of a lot better, so it will give you more power Night?

  12. Just wondering what is in the stock silencers that will rattle around?? If i have the Shee off and start bouncing on it, something starts jumping around in the right silencer.

  14. :laugh: Yea when i was out riding around in the field beside my place i was givin'er around in 2nd and it would start to cut out at really high RPM, and it did the same in 3rd. And it sounds, acts just like what it does when im up in the high revs in 6th. Like yea i have old DG pipes so that wouldnt help...So mayba csrmel idea is true. Cause then when you get High Rev pipes, etc. It might allow it to rev higher because it can breath better, etc :shrug:

  16. Yea i think when i go out riding today i will hit in in 3rd, or 4th..whatever and see what it sounds/acts like so that i know what to look for :laugh:
  17. I was just having a thought today and was wondering when does the Rev Limiter kick in? I'm not sure whether or not im hitting it, or the shee is just cutting out due to the main/needle not being perfect. Like my plugs are are really nice light brown tan colour. So i'm pretty sure that it is good.

  19. I ran my mixture at 24:1 and would let it warm up before i even moved it. Once warmed up i would go real easy up through the gears...then back down through the gears. Do this a few times then come back and let the engine cool down completely. Then i would go out and do the same thing until i ran my tank out.
  20. Sounds like you are rich on the pilot. I would take both carbs apart, and check all the jets in them. Try and match the right side carb to the left side that is nice and tanned. The right side may have a bigger pilot in it. So check everything out
  21. With the 13/41 they will be a little bit easier to pull off the start, so that will be even better for trails
