  1. Hey, i'm hopefully going to be recieving some Pro Circuits from a fellow HQ'r and am wondering what i should start my jetting at, or maybe it wont have to be changed that much. But anyways...im at around 900ft, air temp is around 20-25 Celcius....My current jetting for DG Pipes, Boyesen Reeds, and K&N W/O Lid is a 310 Main, 25 Pilot, Needle on the 4th groove from the bottom, Air screw 1 Turn out.(I'm pretty sure that i remember). I'm just wondering if you guys think there will be much change in the main. I have 320's sitting at home, so should i go get some bigger ones? And do you think i will have to fiddle with the needle a lot/air screw...or be able to leave it where it is. Ovbiously its mostly trial and error but just thought i would ask Thanks  Dinner
  2. Like what woodro77 said, check the title/vin number on it and it will tell you the year. And as said above as well, the plastics could of easily been changed.
  3. Carbs been cleaned out well lately? Did the temperature/air density change much to affect your jetting since last time you were dragging? Air leak somewhere? Cross over tube still in place?
  4. I would think that if it is wrapped that tightly around the pipe that it would get hot as well and still burn your legs, but i could be wrong
  5. I am thinking about getting my cylinders ported this winter sometime, and also getting the crank trued and welded. i am wondering what kind of porting you think i would have fun with the most/use the most. i mostly ride in gravel pits with lots of hill climbing, and run the roads. With a bit of trail riding here and there. My mods are Boyesen reeds, K&N W/O airbox, new stock carbs(without TORS), and soon to have Pro Circuit Pipes and Silencers and i am bored .65 over. Is there a good port(any type) that can give me a good amount of power with stock carbs, or should i get bigger carbs as well? i am thinking about getting either...low-mid, all around, or mid-high. So what does everyone think i would like? Thanks  Dinner
  6. :yelrotflmao: Classic
  7. I have Boyesen Reeds in my banshee right now. I have not had different types to try out so i would not know the difference. But i hear and see a lot of good info about the V 3's
  8. And a thread just like this has already been started
  9. You will have to go up on your main and probably your pilot so that it will start in the cold weather. I would say start around 300 Main, 27.5 pilot and go from there.
  10. Exactly. Get a few more mods that will raise your HP a good amount then put the 15t on. What kind of tires are you running?
  11. I think all im going to do is get porting done and the crank trued and welded. Don't feel like sending the whole motor out :baseball_sweat: All i got to do is find someone around my place what does true and weld cranks.
  12. Yup, mine cracked my right side intake so it was sucking in air like a mother. So i went and bought a couple more cause the other side could go any second as well. And got a cross over tube instead.
  13. Will a any old shop do it, or will i have to look around to find someone.
  14. Congradulations
  15. I am thinking about getting my cylinders ported this winter. Probably an all around port or mid-high port. Do i HAVE to get the crank trued and welded, or is it just a good idea. And how much does it usually cost? Thanks Dinner
  16. Yea i understand it all now  I was just curious to see how high you guys have your shee's revving compared to stock lets say
  17. I was one of these "kids" i guess you can say that PM'd him about it. I wasn't sure what level of octane fuel i would have to run with a .060 head.
  18. I was talking to him about it and he says its only for teh 06/07's. But i dont care its a 4 stroke  I was also wondering if you guys know how high your are revving just cruising or climbing hills, etc. Like a general area that is good and you run it this hard all the time.
  19. As said above PC holds up a lot better. I painted my frame from red to black with gloss black rust paint. With a layer of clear coat. It turned out pretty good i think. And is holding up better than i thought. Before: After:
  20. Man that sucks big time :: Did you buy them new?
  21. Have you tried using the Choke to start it when it is cold? And if it still wont start you will have to pump up your pilot jet.
  22. If they have a lot of tread still left on them, you'll have to drop the pressure down quite a bit
  23. Welcome to the Hq, post up some pics of this new ride
