Ahh so iv been really interesting in buying these parts off a fellow HQ'r, and then i get a call tonight telling me these extra things that need to be replaced on my truck, so now i can't buy these parts anymore, and they were really good parts, for a good price. I'm just pissed off :: , but i guess the money has to go towards the vehicle i use everyday :shoothead: Thought id just get it off my mind Dinner

Well im hoping that his play/dune port will really wake up my motor  If not something is terribly wrong :ermm: I'm still deciding on whether im going to take out my crank this winter or not. Im hopefully going to be sending out my jugs in the next little while to Jeff. Maybe ill get my head shaved and a few other goodies  For you guys that are running the play/dune port, how much more power did you guys notice, as long as its quite a bit more than stock, im happy  Dinner

Thanks Guys I figured i was around 40-45. Im getting another head, so im going to shave one of them down and see how i like it. How much does it cost to get the crank trued and welded? And being as i will probably take it out to get that done, is it hard to take out? Thanks Dinner

Those are some HUGE Mains IMO. Have you checked to make sure you arnt sucking in air somewhere. I would think at only 1000ft(i am around 900) you should not have that big of main.

dodgetalk.com is a pretty good website, im over there on ocassion. What year is the truck? If it is the newer model it will have that Fuel Saving Thinger(forget what it is called). I have always been a dodge person, especially cummins. We used to have fords, now dodge's. And about the transmissions, some people have them go, others don't. I know its not the same but we have a 99 3500 Dually 4 Speed Auto. And we were always hearing that the transmission go pretty quick in the auto's. We have had it for 6-7 years now, and haven't had hardly anything replaced on it except tires, brakes, fluids, few strut bars. And it used to pull 24ft Fifth Wheel Livestcok Trailer. So i say go for it, you'll enjoy the truck

New Here... Looking to Get a Banshee
Dinner replied to Ferocity02's topic in General Banshee Discussion
Welcome to the HQ  And as said above, once you start to mod a banshee, you will not stop  -
how do you align your front wheels?
Dinner replied to peterlocal22's topic in Banshee Repairs and Mods
There are nuts on the steering tie rods. 2 on each rod. All you have to do is loosen up both nuts(i think they are reverse threads, so you have to turn the other way) So once you get them both lostened up, turn the rod itself, which ever way you need the tire to go in/out. Once you get the tire where you want it, tighten those two nuts back up, make sure that your steering is straight, and there you go  Dinner -
Umm :baseball_wassat: I Like Stuff

I have 22" rears and 13/40 gearing. When im trail riding i usually am in 1st or 2nd which is a good speed for the trails near me. I like the 22" tires for the extra clearence. They are a little harder to pull ovbiously cause of the weight, but once you get used to them you will no how to clutch them, etc. And being as you dont care to much about top speed, i would say this will work out for you. And even if you wanted to go more low end you could get a larger rear sprocket.

Umm, i usually change my transmission oil every 5-10 rides, check my spark plugs every once in awhile and see if i need new ones or not. Make sure that the coolant isnt low. Grease all the bushings, swing-arm up whenever they need it. Oil the chain before and after every ride. Umm can't think of anything else as of right now. Other guys will chip in

Yup, i'm using Windows Media Player. When you put the CD into the driver it should load and ask you what you want to do with the CD. Choose the "open up folder" or something alongs those lines, it shows a folder beside it. And i think the other two choices are play using windows media player, and not do anything(maybe??) So once you get the folder of the CD open, i would just copy a song, open up "My Music" folder and paste that song in there. After it is pasted, double click it and make sure it will play. If it does, then you will be able to open it up in Movie Maker.
-
When ever i put songs on my computer off of CD's i just "open" the cd up so you can see all the songs. And then i just copy and paste the song into "my music". Then once that is done i open up movie maker and click import music(or whatever it says) and then i find it in my music. I'm pretty sure this is what i usually do, last time iv put music on the computer from a CD was like a year ago..lol

 This is like my one friend thinking his stock 400ex can beat my simple modded Shee. The YFZ will win

The stock silencers? They have spark arrestor stuff in the front of them. All you have to do is take off the end cap's to see inside of them. Unless you are talking about something different than me
