  4. Hey, i might be buying these 30mm PWK's, and iv been researched about them and get half and half info about them. So i was wondering what does everything think of them, how do they run, how hard are they to tune, is it easy to get parts for them, whatever you can tell them about me, let me know. Thanks Dinner
  5. Hey, was wondering how many of you go riding in Silver Lake during the spring, preferably April. Me and some friends are thinking about heading down there in April, during the off season. Somewhat cold, but the sand will be nice. So does anyone go during April?, and what is the sand like, weather like, whatever you can tell me. I know its far away im just thinking  Dinner
  6. That will come in real nice. Glad she let you do that
  7. I also used Krylon Plastic Paint, pretty damn good product
  8. Glad to see you beat him   What are your mods right now?
  9. Yea i'm hoping i will beat him, just cause he has been talking shit about banshee's, and well 2 strokes in general. He raced a 700R a little while ago and lost most of the time, so he is all pissy about that, and wants to race again now that he has it jetted W/O the lid on. So we are probably going out later this week and he wants to race the 700R again, and im going to race him to shut him up, 20 year old, $2200 quad VS his 06 $10000 Quad
  10. How much would you like for the nerfs, and installing hardware?
  11. I painted my frame and plastics, mostly because i didnt have the money for new plastics or have anywhere to get my frame PC'd. My frame was red and white at first, so i sanded it all down, then painted with Gloss Black Rust Paint. And for my plastics, i spent a good few days just sanding down the plastics, then cleaned them up from dust, etc. And sprayed very very small coast on them, probably a lot of coats after it all added up. Before: Making sure the front end went together..lol Front Plastics Painted: Frame: Getting Back Together: Rear Plastics Cut and Painted: Now: I didnt take everylittle thing off when i painted it, which i should of i know. But im happy with the outcome
  12. A larger pilot would cause it to idle bad, if your jetting was off. The pilot helps with idling, to 1/4 throttle. If adjusting the mixture screw won't improve the low-end running speed it's time for a different pilot jet. This should help: Jetting
  13. Make sure you have your steering cranked all the way to the left, so that there is the most room possible. Usually that side is harder than the left just because the rad hose, so just look at it, take your time, move your steering, move that hose around. Make sure you get the bottom part that attaches to the cylinder in there, then as you are bringing up the part that attaches to the silencer, make sure to also get the exhaust part on. Hope this helps
  14. No kidding , and they will need a lot of patrol out there to keep people from doing the speed limit
  15. Hey everyone I have my 87 Shee with the mods in my sig, and a friend of mine with a 06 450ER with the lid removed, jetted for that, and some green wire cut to gain 1000RPM  So guys, will i give him a good run for his money for 300ft, and on pavement? Dinner
  16. I'm guessing you have tried pulling the choke all the way out and trying to start it with the choke on. Have you checked your pilot jet, adjusted your air/fuel screw? You might need a bigger pilot.
  17. Welcome to the HQ  Make sure you already have a couple of grand to spend
  18. When you installed the Pods, did you re-jet(bump up the main), adjust the needle if necessary, etc. If it cuts out and feels like it has no power, you are probably running too lean
  19. Are you sure its not just clutch chatter? And you can get the crank trued and welded, then it would handle the power better if you start to get the power up
  20. Same, i'm running that right now
  21. I use WD40, but with just a shop rag, has been working for me for a while now
  22. Right now with Pro Circuits, K&N Filter W/O Lid, Boyesen Reeds, Stock Carbs, i have...25 Pilot, 310 Main, Air screw 1.0 turns out. But that was for the warmer weather. Im at 900ft+ sea level, and its around 0-10 celcius right now, so im going to get some 27.5 pilot, and 330/340 mains, and then fiddle with the air screw. Maybe this will give you an idea
  23. It's my dads, but since im using it for school and everything else, its pretty much "mine" 1999 Dodge Ram 3500 Cummins 24 Valve Turbo Diesel
  24. Exhaust Manifold, its cracked like a mother, front bushings, sway arm, exhaust. And im only 17, so i dont have a lot of money
  25. Yea, they add up, my sister has 6 right now, and the one was around $650..so they add up
