  1. Ya, I built a wooden crate and mounted the motor to the inside of the box with its own motor mounts. It cost about $92 to ship it from Cali to Kansas.
  2. Ya, some months back there was a thread about shipping a banshee frame and at that time the cheapest I think they found was Greyhound............... Good luck man............
  3. I've seen a few cover's that were a type of spandex material that stretches over the seat..............
  4. If the port work was done right, which is negotiable, and it is .40 over you may have a run for your money. Because your power mods are only reeds and I'm not sure of the power with the pipe, but then again that boost bottle should gain ya about 30 hp alone................. :yelrotflmao: All kiddin' aside you may have him if you are a better rider. Personally I'd get it ported before summer, get a timing plate, and get a NOSS head with 20cc domes, and someone else will have to chime in on the pipe issue..............................
  5. Yeah, I think with that kind of compression I would run it straight. For the few extra bucks why chance it..............
  6. Ricky Stator plates are only $35....................
  7. Jeff's good people and his parts rock. Before I got my lockup I was shecking into getting a better clutch and there were a lot of racer's and hill climber's on here that swore by Jeff's FAST clutch setup's. If I remember right Loco ran a whole season hill climbing with one of Jeff's clutches and he said it held up great. I personally had to go with the lock-up for the cubby (cheaper in the long run)................
  8. Now thats hot.................
  9. I like the look of them, but I wanted to mount it on the plastic on the front fender next to the tank. The problem with that is I don't think it can be mounted because of the way it is designed. I think you just cut the water line and insert it and when you want the temp you need to bend down and look under the tank to see it. I wanted to see it when I ride, and haven't yet seen one that is made that you install like that. I have seen a lot that people have modified which is probably what I am going to have to do.............
  10. Yeah, I need to decide which oil to run in my cub now. I was runnin redline in it before the rebuild, but just prior to build I switched to H1R................
  11. Damn, I can't believe this thread is still going............... If you want a good info site on cummins? Go to Dieselram.com its a great forum with a lot of knowledgable people like here..............
  12. Right on.................
  13. Agreed looks like an ATC
  14. Hey Dave, 84 degree's, wish you were here buddy. Hey is that a snow shovel in you sig., man I haven't seen one of those in years.............
  15. That one was hard enough to watch, you mean there is another one..................
  16. You go Boyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy.
  17. Yeah, nice write up I think I am going to get one of those for my cub, along with the larger bowls. I don't want to lean it out because it sucks the bowls dry. I just wish the bowls and the pingel weren't so damn expensive............
  18. The stock carbs will be ok for the porting, but will not perform to its potential. Porting will need to have larger carbs to breath better. Your best bet is to figure out what you are planning on doing with the bike and give Jeff a call at FAST..............
  19. I wouldn't use it, but thats me. I thought I read somewhere that because you are mixing it with oil that the octane is inconsistant because it doesn't mix well. Problem is that I can't remember where I read that, if it was someones opinion or actual fact...............
  20. Ya, everything I use I need to clean it off after a ween=kend and reapply it because it has sand caked on it, which has to be good for it, right
  21. I'd stick with the 14 as well for now. What other mods do you have?
  22. That is exactly what I was thinking.........................
  23. Hey, nice rides, and welcome to the HQ. You live across the street from a funeral home...............?
  24. Yeah, there was somebody that lived in Reno, but I can't remember who it was...................
  25. Yeah, it really depends on your compression to determine what octane you can run. I ran avgas 100LL for two years without any problems, but at the time my compression was only at around 150, which is fine. Once you get up in the 160's and up you chould go to race fuel at 110 octane, but the bike will tell you if it is right as long as you know what the compression is...............
