  1. Does anyone know where I can find a comparison between the Cool Heads and ther Noss Heads? I hear they both work great but main reason for getting the new head is to get better cooling, and more power never hurt. That reminds me can I run pump gas through 20cc heads or should I be using 21cc domes? I live at and ride at about 400 foot elevation, but go to sand mountain a lot and it is in the high desert of Nevada. Elevation I think is around 2500 to 3000 feet or what ever Fallon Nevada is. Any input would be appreciated.......... Got Sand?
  2. Thank you guys for the info. That brought me to another question, if the smaller the cc dome, the more pressure that is inside the cylinder, thus giving you more power. How do you determine which size domes to order? Does it depend on other mods or is it ok to put 16cc, or 18cc domes on an otherwise stock 2002 with T-5's.
  3. I have a question about the cool heads for my banshee. You can get them up to a 22cc dome or combustion chamber, and get the added piece of mind that the cooling in the head is better. My question is this: Does this increase the total displacement in the cylinder or is the stock chamber also 22cc or 21cc? I know that when the engine runs cooler, you get more power. If anyone can fill me in I would appreciate it...................Got Sand?
  4. I like to trail ride with my Banshee, rip up the local gravel quarry, or shred sand mountain, which is not the problem. The problem is that the Banshee's were designed to flat out fly and it does that very nicely and stays cool. But when I am racing around in the pea gravel hills, or carving up the sand, my bike gets very, very hot (the motor is going 90, but my actual speed is 10 mph). What I would like to do is either build a custom shroud and put an electric fan behind the steering column to help cool the radiator (no room in front of the column). I also had an I dea that I could custom mount a radiator out of a street bike with a fan under my seat. This would give me more of a cooling reservoir plus a fan. I would either put in a toggle switch to jump between the lights and the fan or put in a larger stator. Has anyone ever done this or is there problems that I am not aware of? Is there other ideas bolt-ons that work nicely and have been proven to stay cool. Any help would be tramendously appreciated, I have been posting this same question all over the net with not one response..................... Got Sand?
