Yeah, I really like my 4 mil cub, and going to be putting either CPI's or Shearer's on it haven't decided yet, and 39 carbs instead of the 35's......... It runs really good now but after that it will run like a raped ape. First I need to change the coil and ignition I think...............

Yeah, If you don't have the right o-ring and it is bunching up then you are going to have a leak most definately..............

If I remember right, stock compression is around 135-140, and if you drop below 100 you need to do some engine work. Mine is at 185, but now where near stock anymore.................

Reed spacers are not power adders, they allow your larger carbs to to be raised slightly to clear the clutch cable because it sits directly below the carb bowls...............

Thats sweet man, hope you get yours back in good condition. If they put them in jail pay some bad asses in there a visit and tell them that the guys that stole your babies did dirty things to them. Then you can get inmate justice. By the way, don't tell them your babies are quads though...................

If they weren't sync'ed right the performance gain is going to be in direct relation to how bad they were off. They engine response will be better and the engine will run smoother and last longer............

Yeah, I bought one and I think it works great. It takes all the guess work out of it and it is a lot faster to do the job. Jeff told me that it was a good investment and I trust what he says and also gives me piece of mind to know that the CFM's are dead nuts on...............

Yeah, I am thinking about selling my T-5's and 35 PWK's and getting a set of Shearer's with 39 carbs. Which should wake up my cub just a bit............. When I had less mods I really liked the T-5's, but I feel that they are holding my motor back now and I need to let it breath better................

Yeah, I have the same problem on my cub. I get noticeably more smoke out the right pipe, and that pipe is actually cooler than the left. When I check the plugs the right side is wet with no noticeable smoke ring, while the left pipe is hotter and dry with a perfect smoke ring. The motor was just rebuilt with the cubby, so the crank seal is not an issue and the compression is fine at 185. The thing that I was leaning towards was the coil. I think the right plug wire is not as good a spark or as consistant which would explain the unburnt fuel (blue smoke) and the wet plug on one side. Plus would not show a smoke ring if it wasn't burning the fuel completely............. Just my .02 :biggrin:

If its comin' apart now and you need a new crank, I would go with the stroker crank, because you can only go up from there...............

Yeah if it was just a little bit you probably blew most of it out. Its when it happens for a while that you have problems..............
