  1. As I stand shaking my head........................ Good luck with that. :yelrotflmao:
  2. If it is stored in a metal can out of the sunlight and in a cool place I think it will be fine for about six to eight months. If you are worried about it, mix it with some fresher stuff thats what I am going to do next month. I bought some in May and I am going to mix it 50/50 with the new stuff that I am going to buy in two weeks when I go to sand mountain on Oct. 18th...................
  3. I run the 8 paddle Comp cut Brats and they are really nice tires. They are much lighter and they have a different cup design. If you watch two bikes set up the same and watch them run the hauler's throw their sand up and in the air (cool if you want to roost a buddy). But the Brats throw the sand backwards lower to the ground thus pushing the bike forward, not digging holes and forward. They are one of the only tires that I have seen that I can start out on a hill and take off and not have to get off because I just sat there and dig holes, or turn and go down the hill instead of up the hill. They are pricey, but if you don't want to pay that much get different tires..............
  4. Yeah, it's a bunch of crap. Another reason I want to move out of Cali..............
  5. Big Red's right, try planet sand for stuff like that...............
  6. To be on the safe side you need to check your compression at sea level. Once you hit 150 -155 you need to start at least runnin' 50/50................
  7. You will be happy with the 4mil, good luck man.................
  8. Welcome to the HQ man
  9. Welcome to the HQ man, and congrats on the shee. I had to stop giving my paychecks to Jeff and FAST because I had other bills to pay, but it may be getting time to upgrade again..............
  10. I did mine with a 4" angle grinder with a cut-off wheel, and it turned out really clean after cleaning it up with a little sand paper...............
  11. Yeah, I've seen ape hanger's on Harley's. But I have never seen them on a shee............
  12. Yeah, there are a few people runnin' the +4's and do just fine with them. I would run that for a while and see how you like it, because you can always still by the longer arm. I run a +6 on mine and it is fine for me because I can still go through the twisties. Not as good as I could with the stocker but then again the added ponies is a great compromise..................
  13. Pulling the boat out of the lake, and straddling the side. Went around a corner and the wieght shifted one leg on the fender and the other inside the boat on the seat. The one on the fender was wet and slipped off and my weight went to the outside, but I couldn't get my other leg out of the boat. It was either jump or under the tire, and I chose jump. I fell only about five feet but the trailer was moving and my feet were above me when I landed on the asphalt.
  14. Man I can't wait to get back on my bike. I broke my wrist in two places and broke two ribs on July 16th, and haven't been able to ride since. My poor shee has cob-webs and a low tire on it, how pathetic is that. Oh well, wrist is getting stronger so I can hold on to the beast now. Point to my story, I hate spending my summer looking at my bike, and going to the lake watching everyone else swim but me. Damn cast..................... ::
  15. Is the gearing the same? What about jetting? If ones off it would not run as well. Could be a better rider (ie. shifting, traction (amount of tread on tires)). Are both rider's the same weight? Not all banshees run the same with the same mods, and I've seen differences in stockers runnin' together.
  16. I never hear of any rides like that out here on the west coast, and its so damn hot right now you don't even want to hit the sand (besides Pismo).
  17. I hear that taking the visor off of your helmet is a good mod, it cuts down on wind drag............. :yelrotflmao:
  18. Yeah, my brother had a YFZ and I thought he did pretty damn good on it. I think my problem was gearing, because he would take me off the line and I would catch up to within a bike length but then ran out of hill to climb. At the time it was just a piped shee too, I'd like to see him try that crap now..............mooohahahahahahaha
  19. Yeah, there are a lot of cool people on here. My last trip to sand mountain I met up with Kai, Bansheeseat$$. But unfortunately my ride wasn't dialed in yet and I couldn't ride with him, but next time for sure............... Anyway hopefully I can meet up with more member's on future rides, here's to the HQ members
  20. Congrats on the new ride man................
  21. How does it sound different.................?
  22. HAppy birthday, DUCMAN.......................
  23. Yeah, try either one of those, and if they don't work out give Jeff at FAST a call. He may have some layin' around the shop he'll sell ya.
  24. Well, if it looks to me like you are broke down I will stop, not just because its the right thing to do but I would hope you would stop for me....................
  25. I have friends that live in Clifton Beach in Queensland. We will be coming to visit in November or December.................
