  1. Thats a little different, but its still missing something. You might PM "Chase" on here and see if maybe he can get you some ideas..........
  2. I don't have that brand, but I do run the shockware. I got them mainly to add more red to my black and white shee, but they also keep crap off of my shocks...............
  3. Yep thats about right, I think the damn thing is always jetted wrong, but then I check it and its fine. I do have one gremlin that showed up here recently and the right plug is lean and the left plug is dead on. I think it is a plug wire or coil issue............
  4. I run mine out of fuel everytime I know I'm not going to run it for a few weeks. Mine is doing something similar but the right plug is white and the left plug is brown on the plug chop. I think that mine is either in the coil or my plugs wires may be screwed up. Still have to tinker with mine to narrow it down, but in your case you are going to have to check things and recheck things. It's a pain in the a$$, but you will eventually find it.........
  5. I would get one that has a good zoom range on it and one with a LCD. I had one that was the old kind that i had to look into the viewfinder and it kinda sucked, but the zoom quality was good. The new ones I think have all the fancy antivibrate/movement minimization stuff so you can take some pretty good vids once you learn the camera's features.............
  6. Ya, I use the BR8ES's for the resistor, but thats what I have always used in my bike...........
  7. Ya, I've heard of people takin' cheap bikes and parting them out and makin' decent money with it. Plus it helps people out who can't afford to go to Yamaha and pay thier prices...........
  8. Ya, you need a lot of horsepower for a 12-14 over swinger, and 80-85 horse just ain't quite there yet...........
  9. Ya, I've heard some good ones, but nobody has pulled one on me yet..................
  10. Ya, yard work takes up a lot of time and energy, not to mention patients when it comes to weeds, pests, and dry spots...........
  11. You just need to put what you think into it and run it. Check the plugs and see if you feel comfortable with that............
  12. Damn, that would be a good educated guess, good eyes man I thought that was an L8. If it is a S then Bansh-eman is probably dead on............
  13. I heard somewhere, not sure how accurate but, that the nikisil when scarred will flow back into the scarred area when it heats back up and smooth itself out as long as the damage isn't severe............ Maybe someone who knows more about that can chime in, but like I said I don't know that for a fact but its what I heard.
  14. If you are retaining the stock jugs, then ya, I would definately get a port job done. As far as carbs I would probably go with 33's for better flow, and I have never used the 2 into 1 setup so someone else will have to chime in on that.
  15. Ya, it really sucks to live in California anymore. I'm seriously thinkin about gettin' out of dodge when I clear a few things up..............
  16. Welcome to the HQ man.............
  17. You are really gonna like the dunes. I like ridin other areas, but they don't compare to dune carving................
  18. Ya, my mods are below, and I really have no regrets with my cubby, except for the gas station that I have to drag around with me..........
  19. To check the ball bearing you should be able to just push on it with something and if it pushes in and back into place it is fine. It only has a small spring behind it to push it back into place. The grease does usually ooze out of the dust covers, but you may need to move the arms to get this to happen because the seals are tight being new and all...........
  20. That sounds about right to me too...........
  21. It looks extrememly close to the one that I have on mine. I bought it from Jeff at FAST, but it was dropped shipped from some place in oregon. For the life of me I can't remember the companies name, but you can get it from Jeff I'm sure.............
  22. Ya, I used to run the 100LL but then my compression snuck up to 185 so now I can't run that stuff any more. If you are in the 145-155 range you can get away with it, but even 155 is pushing it.........
  23. Ya, I was wondering about that myself. I mean I am not a hill climber (competativly), but from what I have read and watched on vids. Most of these guys run some pretty pumped up bikes, but good luck man..............
  24. The beefy one is all good, but the problem is when the energy is transferred it has to go some where and usually that is going to be the metel itself or the place where it bolts to the case............
  25. Ya, I think with my cubby I am going to stick with the 35's and get a set of shearers. I'm not sure if I would be gaining that much to get a new set of carbs like going to a set of 38's...........
