  1. I ride mostly fast trails and dunes, I perfer the 15 up front.
  2. don't know why I would answer the same ? twice...I use the start button
  3. mine is hooked up to a clapper 1 it starts, 2 it shuts off. this has become a problem now because people now how to shut me down.
  4. I run klotz r50 at 32-1, no problems here and it smells good...
  5. check your throttle cable, make sure when you had the carbs pulled back nothing got bound up... if those are your only mods and your in mi., your mains should be in the 290-320 range.stock pilot should be ok, clip forth from top. Welcome and good luck
  6. I believe a stock banshee is 110-130 psi.
  7. I always turn my gas off when I park it and have no troubles when I go to restart. mine sat for 3 months and started and ran fine. your carbs might gummed up,try cleaning the carbs and a new set of plugs.
  8. are you asking a bunch of screamin two stroke guys if you should get a banshee or a ds... the ds of course !!!
  9. sounds like good advice
  10. also, if it won't pull sixth gear and feels lazy or like it's laying down, your probably lean. don't run it out that way. jet up and try again.
  11. check your float height also, if it's to high it will load up at idle...
  12. A flat spot before coming onto the pipe usually indicates a lean pilot jet. on a stock air box the lid holds the filter in place, without the lid the filter can move around, make sure that is secure also.
  13. first you need to secure the air filter.the lid holds the stock filter in place. If the filter is not secure that will allow more air, and a leaner condition. The proflow adaptor with a k&n filter is the way to go with the stock air box. Personnally I would jet up until I was a little rich, and back off one.
  14. I see them on ebay for around $200, I think you still need a cable.
  15. motoman in canton mi. I believe i paid $209
  16. I would replace them, it's cheap insurance...
  17. I agree with the others, gear up a tooth if your running a 14 tooth. I run a 38mm on mine and the 15 tooth gear did way more for the top end.
  18. every bike is going to be different, if it's running great I say leave it be...
  19. but what if the race was in the sand... and the guy driving the gsxr was the same guy on the cbr 600...
  20. majic racing has a kit that comes with a coolant bottle bracket and filters, and they have good prices
  21. I run +4 to +6 degrees, must of the time at +4
  22. you have way to much motor for a 13 tooth front, your spinning and shifting to much. try a 15 in front, you'll love it. I don't have anything close to your motor, and run 15-41 gears and 20-10-8 10 paddle and I pull that gear fine. I tried 13, 14, and 15 in front and like the 15 the best.
  23. maybe they were bracket racing and the banshee had a 4 second head start... or the cbr was
  24. stock comp... 110-130 milling a stock head is fine for power +4 degrees is fine on pump gas if your below 160 psi theres alot of opinions about welding the crank, thats up to you.
  25. ask in the drag forum
