  1. If you are running gas, you will probably be fine with the stock T connector and the stock fuel petcock. As long as you're not doing any loooong wide-open stuff you will probably be ok. - Jared
  2. Ditch the "T" and get a pingle. Keep in mind that you have the hydro-static force of the fuel in the tank pushing downward. As long as you have fuel in your tank and your lines are lower than the tank, it will push the fuel up-hill and over a hump in the fuel line. Your carb bowls are vented and your tank is vented, and your tank is higher than your carb bowls...
  3. I do that quite a bit on the methanol bikes. Splash the filters, hold throttle wide open and suck that gas vapors in and it fires up with a kick or two.
  4. Well yank the clutch cover off and see whats up in there, if you don't find anything, its time to split the cases and check your trans...
  5. You have to be set up for each one differently, they are not interchangeable. You could run E85 on a methanol bike, but it will run like dog shit. You CANNOT run methanol on an E85 bike, it will be really lean and melt you down. The E85 is not very consistent from pump to pump, so most people don't run it. Its a pain in the butt. Methanol is the way to go. - Jared
  6. ATF. 1.5 quarts on a stock side-cover and 2 quarts on a lockup modded cover. No need to measure on the stupid little stick. Just do 1.5 quarts if you have a stock side-cover and 2 if you have the lockup cover and you're good to go. - Jared
  7. Good lord, check your top end, thats pretty lean.
  8. PICS!?!?!?!?!?!?!!?!?!?!!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!??!?!?!?!?!??!?!?!?!?!!
  9. I read the whole thing and looks like the sniper pipes were the better pipe. I'm going to have to just order a set and throw them on my hoopdies at the dunes for some races. - Jared
  10. I was more just trying to copy what phelps said. ha!
  11. With an aftermarket crank you can order then with whatever size rods you want on whatever stroke you want. It is entirely possible to get a stock stroke crank with 115mm rods. or a 4mil crank with 110mm rods, or a 10mil crank with 125mm rods... its whatever you order for whatever your particular setup is. - Jared
  12. Its called "rake" and yes, the stock frame has about 3deg of rake on the front end.
  13. Fail. You should always get domes custom cut by whoever is doing your engine or port work. Domes are an integral part to proper engine performance. Don't go through trinity for anything. That's just supporting a crap dealer. I would call Kevin @ HJR. - Jared
  14. Mikuni makes them too, dave moore makes them, im pretty sure just about any builder can get them for ya. Jared
  15. Just spray it. Problem solved.
  16. You sure you alternated springs? Oem, heavy, oem, heavy, etc? Once its rotating the centrifugal force may help even it out a bit.
  17. Video removed by user. I dont think that will help folks. LoL
  18. Um... on a stock frame. lol
  19. You don't have to sleeve them, just send them to millenium and get them plated. - Jared
  20. I agree with phelps. Plus if your broke a rod, other parts of the crank will be out of whack, and even with a rebuild I would never be able to trust it again. Jared
  21. For the custom cut domes give Kevin @ HJR a call. He can get you a set of domes cut for the 4mil. Ditch the spacer plate and go with the cut domes. - Jared
  22. Too early in the season for me. I hate riding in cold and snow. I usually wait till the end of july or some time in aug to go to St. A's
  23. For anyone wondering, these bowls will fit 34PJ through 39PWK carbs. - Jared
  24. Price?
