  1. Lets try this again.... Whats the dumps drilled to? Mains? Pilots? Needles? What size needle-valve & seat do they have? What brand of billet bowls?
  2. POST PICS!! Photobucket... duh!
  3. POST PICS!!!!!!!!!!!! banghead banghead banghead banghead banghead
  4. PICS OR GTFO! Who set the carbs up? Whats the dumps drilled to? Mains? Pilots? Needles? What size needle-valve & seat do they have? What brand of billet bowls? Come on dude....
  5. All of those are some funny shit.
  6. I think without the springs its just like a normal override. Without the springs there to assist in holding the forks in the neutral position, you will be bending/breaking forks more regularly I would imagine. - Jared
  7. POST PICS! Duh!
  8. It would be handy to have access to a dyno for some tuning options with this 485. I would really like to know if thats what it was that was causing the problems. - Jared
  9. Post Pics! Hit up photobucket.com and upload them there. Easy as pie! I've got a group of banshees headed to KP may 19, you should come over to RS and ride! - Jared
  10. Methanol makes a LOT more heat than gas.
  11. We've actually tried it both ways, with a couple different sets of domes. No matter what setup we did the small-bore pipes would back plugs out after riding about 10min of riding.. We did 175lbs compression, 155lbs, 135lbs, +7, +4, Stock Timing. All the domes were cut by Tim @ Titan for alky. Once we moved over to the big-bore pipes the problem went away. (This was before I got this particular cheetah) Now that I have it, I'm running 150lbs compression, +4 timing, and the big-bore pipes. I am actually really happy with the big-bores on this setup. Between the small-bore shearers and the big-bores, the big-bores "feel" like they have a lot more mid-range and "feel" like they use the powervalves more. These cylinders have an aggressive dune port from Brandon @ Wildcard. Jared
  12. POSTING PICS WOULD HELP!
  13. Once you upload your pics to photobucket, just hover over the pic you want, and copy the IMG tag and paste it here in your thread.
  14. I've got a set of racers edge pipes on my cub, I may have to toss them on the cheetah beast and try them out...
  15. I run the BB in-frame shearers on my 485 cheetah. Mine is ported and runs on methanol though. I went with the BB pipe because the SB pipe holds too much heat. It all depends on your porting and setup and how you ride it. For a methanol dune bike I would never do the small-bore's. They hold WAY too much heat and cause detonation issues after the engine gets warmed up. Drag racing and hill-shooting is a different story. The BB shearers I have hit like a freight-train in the mid-range, which makes them perfect for the dunes. I love them, but like I said, my engine setup and the fuel I use for the riding I do is different than most people. - Jared
  16. 33 PWK's are a great carb. - Jared
  17. How about just getting some custom cut domes and a cool head and do it right.
  18. Your PJ caps wont work on PWK carbs. Just FYI. It looks like your carbs were set up for alky, I see a tap on both bowls where the power-jet pickup would go, and I'm guessing the plug in your bells would be where the powerjet would be. Measure your dump tubes and post up the measurement so buyers can be sure they are getting gas or alky carbs. - Jared
  19. Thanks man!
  20. caps, slides included? Can you show some pics of the fuel inlet? Whats the orange plug in the bell?
  21. Thanks man! Its a standard override. Not duneable.
