Ditch the 2into1 carb kit and get a set of dual's like keihin 28's or 33 pwk's. Something like that. Single-carbs suck. For the mean-time the fuel coming out the line is from improper float height or your needle valve isn't closing properly. yank the carb and tear it all apart and clean the shit out of it. I would also yank the head and replace your o-rings. Both are easy jobs. Next thing would be to get it jetted right. the poor performance is probably due to crappy jetting on top of your other issues. make sure your timing plate is set at +4 for starters. Jared

The springs are to assist in keeping the gears in a neutral position when you are overriding them. Its to help prevent the bent/broken fork issue that comes with abusing overrides. You should call M&M about where they go and how to install them. Depending on the type of trans you have they will probably go on the shift fork rod between the case and 1 fork, between the two forks, and between the last fork and the other side of the case. You will need to tweak the springs sometimes to get them equalized so they hold the forks in the correct position. Call Andy & he can help you get everything set up right. Jared

I would just snag a new set of cases. Cheaper and easier in the long run than dicking with trying to weld the cases and getting everything to seal correctly. Cases are $200 or less, and you can find dirty cases with a chain whack for under $100 a lot of times. Clean up the chain whack, spray them down with carb cleaner and blast them at the car wash and you are good to go most of the time. Just look around. Jared

Mikuni offer a LOT more adjustability, but the tops on them suck to remove for needle changes or tight fitting pipes. Keihin are easy to tune, fit well, and just plain work. I have mikuni's on my drag bike and keihins on my duner. Both work pretty good when set up right. Jared

Use your phone and call dell and get a computer. Email the pics to yourself, go to an internet cafe, use a friends computer, schools computer, work computer, etc and dump the pics on photobucket.
