  1. I just got TCS's on my shee. And I cant speak higher of them. I have so much traction now its crazy. He rebuilt my rear for 440. definitely worth the money.
  2. I dont know yet. Once I got it installed, I found out that the Janssen +1+, I have to clear the IMS 5.6 tank is not compatable with the mount they sent me. So they are engineering me a new one. basically my stem is 1 inch forward, and their mount isnt. so Randy, the guy that designed the banshee mounts is working with me to get it installed and working. the last I heard from him, they were just gonna bust me out a new mount. so we will see. KICK ASS company EH? I will let ya all know once Im able to use it. I will get a pic of it installed so ya all can check it out.
  3. Im glad you guys chimed in on that. I should be getting my 15 tooth any day now. I wasnt sure if I should run it in my first race this weekend or not. but you guys just made up my mind. Im gonna run it in practice and see how shee does.
  4. I read somewhere that dual's were better for banshee's. I know that triples are an overkill unless your racin or hittin some big dune jumps.
  5. I have my shee set up for XC and Desert. You can see my sig below. For MX I would go with everything I got, minus the tank. And I have a stock swing, most MX'rs shorten theirs to a -1 or -2. Also, run lower gearing, as MX doesnt have straights that last more than a few seconds. First thing First. Suspension.
  6. I think it was A&S that pulled home all the trophies at last years DUNEFEST. they had some fuckin fast machines. i got um on vid somewhere.
  7. I couldnt get mine running right. ended up buying some new MOOSE needles and BAM HEADSHOT!....oh wait wrong timing.....BAM worked great. Something about new needles having a finer tip, than stockies. something like that. im sure others will chime in.
  8. I like the washer idea, but anything metal will work. Man...you shaved just a cunt hair off there, with washers youll have an easier time finding one that fits.
  9. Could it be that your running +2 arms with 450 shocks. I just put +2's on my shee...with works fronts set up for stock arms. I am bottoming out on everything...in fact I just landed on a rock and took out my brake pedal and water pump cover. Id hate to think about what would have happened had I been 6 inches to the left. Anyway, if you have +2's, you need suspension for them. Im not sure what the 450's are set for....you would have to measure the arms on a 450 and find out what banshee's are. I had to order up new suspension. hopefully it will rock. no pun intended.
  10. My top end guy told me Vitos were just modified Wiseco's. I use Pro-X. They are my first set...so we will see. I had a set of wiseco pro-lites to put in and my mechanic talked me out of it. He's a hard core metal head, so I listened to what he had to say. Basically nothing compares to stock, right? and pro-x have to abide by stock standards. moreover, they take it one step further and solidifies those number...moreso than stock...because of the industry standards. who knows...i just try to take extra care of her so I never have to find out that my pistons took a shit.
  11. I think mine has always been a little ping'y. I thougt it was a banshee thing. quik hint. get a set of doctor's ears. I dont know what they call them, but those things they listen to your chest with. Anyway, if you had a set of those, you can place them on your engine, and pinpoint where the noise is coming from.
  12. I intentionall threw out every receipt from every part I have purchased. I personally dont want to know that I spent 4500 on a used shee. then put another 6G's in parts on her. Not to mention when I break shit. those then need replacing. Tires, and wheels, oh man. And not to mention, the fluel costs, or liquid costs..ie. mix, tranny fluid, brake fluid, radiator coolant. also, spark plugs and TOOLS. dont forget the tools needed to work on them. lol. all in the name of HOBBY. My wife often says that I spend more time and money on the shee than her and my kids. I have to agree. But it wont last forever, and soon the kids will grow up. Then they will be getting all my change. but for now.. im gonna have one kick ass ride. instead of a ride that kicks my ass. Happy 2 strokin.
  13. douglas are lighter. Im with 350. The stockies hold up like no tomorrow. I have been thru several sets of douglas and ITP wheels, all folding under the pressure. But I still have my stock 97 wheels. I actually have my Razr's on um for recreational use. they are ugly as fugly gets. they have been beat to shit, then beaten back into shape. If a bead gets blown, I just use a hammer. best tool to have on the trail.
  14. Happy B-Day. I wanna see some drunk naked pictures from party'n too much.
  15. I am a Quality Assurance Technician for the Federal Aviation Administration.
  16. I ended up getting the GPR. It connects directly to the ANTI-VIBE. Also, accepts fat bars. I will let ya all know how it works when I get it installed.
  17. my buddy runs Repsol in his Trinity 465ex. says its good stuff. I run nothing but bel Ray. from the brake fluid to the tranny oil.
  18. yup...factory bars..... I have a call into Janssen as I type. GPR stabilizer might work. They only work with 100MM antivibe's tho. fingers crossed.
  19. Hey blue, are you running a stock stem and clamp or aftermarket? I just got off the phone with scotts and he is saying it wont work with an aftermarket stem and clamp. I am also running Tag 2 fat bars..different clamp all together. you stated that drilling holes in the clamp might be an option. Id hate to spend 5 bills and not have it come out. also, i was just talking to a mechanic. and he was saying that he has seen where the resi's with the dampner is too much, and you need the dampner on the top. just easier. anyone have a problem installing their DENTON's with remote resi's?
  20. Baja's are pain for. Cant wait to get um on on my ride.
  21. I just talked to Scotts. they say their stablilzers only work with stock stems and clamps. Has anyone tried differently? I have a Janssen anti-vibe +1+1. can anyone say that the Scotts will work? Otherwise...what other choices do I have? Denton looks like. fukin sux.
  22. I dont want users to change their dampners. I want people that are in the market to buy dampners to speak up. I want to get the best on my shee...and so far im hitting walls. OLD 2 SMOKE-----You say you have Scotts on 4 shee's. Are they all stock stems with stock clamps? or are any of them aftermarket anti-vibe's with fat bar clamps? thanks for the info.
  23. Acording to Scotts they only work with stock stems and clamps. I have Janssen for both. and fat bars at that. question is will the Scotts work with aftermarket. Scotts says no. So no Scotts and no precision. what to do?
  24. No downers in here bro. I want the feedback. But the product is not under R&D. but the mount will be. But they wont be using ours to build or test it. they will be using their own. I and 4 others will simply be the driving force for the company to create a mount. thats all. if us banshee users will use the stabilizer the company is willing to make it. But if we arent going to be purchasing them....why make a mount. makes sense to me. I just want a precision...and looks like we wont be getting um....unless some others out there looking to get the best stabilizer for their money, are willing to say... yes lets do this. I could just be barking up a tree here. but this is not just for me. this will be for all of us. If we dont want them, or need them...so be it. I just want the best....and right now this product is the best.
  25. Damn I poped off the water cover to see the crack...or chunk missing. No big deal really. I couldnt of hit it in a better location. I JB welded it last night. wont see it till today. I hope I can sand that jb...so it will be a little pretty'r. I will post pics when Im done.
