there are a few places that rebuild shocks. TCS is who did mine. And I love it. I had him service it for 100 bux....basically oil change....but well worth it. then the other day I had them rebuild mine. 440 was the ticket for a new rebuilt shock. look um up on the net www.tcsracing.com

awesome.....found it searching. link below. I remember now. It was the spring on the shift shaft that busted last time. I bought a used shift shaft mech off ebay and just used the spring. when i got the side open what mods can I do? i got a ricky stator adj. alum plate yesterday. I ordered the blaster shift mod...cuz i hear its just as good as a star mod. What is involved with the flywheel lightning? or should I say, what do they do to lighten it? I already have a new clutch in there...well its a year old...but good nuntheless. any ideas?

I just searched a shit load...so dont tell me to search...lol. I had this problem awhile ago....cant remember what I did to fix it other than taking it apart and putting it back together. I think it was the shifting adjuster thingy. Anyway, Last time this happened I was MX racing....This time I was XC racing. So...I think its when it heats up real good. I ride the piss outta this thing. Dunes, Desert, Trail, HOT, COLD, 0ft-7000ft. For hours on end. but this is the second time its happened...and both times while RACING. tell me a worse time for it to happen. anyway....how come this is happening...what can I do to keep it from happening again.

The T-6 was built for stock shee's. why toomey tried to improve on an allready perfect pipe is beyond me. specially cuz they came out with a pipe that performs considerably lower than its predicesor. is that spelled right? anyway. you may change your mind down the line...so why go with the 6's? specially when you get better performance with the 5's? not even a question for me. Also, if your doing a dune port....look into CPI's. they have inframe's as well as out and they are pretty much the same price. I hear real good things about the CPI's. Ive heard that FMF's are good for trail. T5's just all around awesome. not to good on the bottom...but damn...expect to do 90 without blinking. cpi for drag and dune. maybe someone else will chime in too.

I think you meant to say....what do those dampners do? so I will answer that question. basically the dampners are mounted onto your steering stem, eleviating the shock you get from bumps, ruts, roots, ect. You have shocks on your bike that soak up the force from the ground. but you dont have any shocks for the side to side movement that your tires make. picture hitting a stump at 10 miles an hour. it just might rip the bars outta your hands. cuz you dont have shocks for your steering. untill you put a dampner on it. then when you hit a stump, the force goes to the dampner instead of your arms. Also, crank up the stabilizer and it will take all the vibe outta your bars, and keep it in a straight line. the GPR goes up to 8....im on the 2nd setting. but in my desert race on the straights I will definitely be cranking it up. Another thing. I just ran my first XC race with it on the shee. It was 4 laps at 1.5 mile track. I got off with no arm pump, and very little fatigue. Oh ya...I placed 1st outta 12 in the first moto, and 2nd in the second moto. I have to contribute that win to my new suspension and stabilizer. good products.

I just brand new TCS's put on mine....of course the back is rebuilt stocker. but I have to admit. I have been punishing these things and they are the shit. I had works before and they were cool untill I got these bad boys. I have talked to people with the fox podiums and they love um. say they are the best thing since sliced bread.

both my sets of T5's have tan'd tehn blue'd on me, and mines Dyno'd. I know its dialed in right. the only thing I can think of is the wide range of elevations I run at. between 0-10,000 ft.

yup...wes miller does ATV freestyle vids. he produces them. he also races. you may recall he was in last years atv champ on a 4x4. BUT back to the scary banshee. How can it be too fast? Banshee's are something you grow with. when you get to the end of your throttle you add more. thats the beauty of the shee. just like the other guy said. they just happen to get off a 450 before they jumped on the banshee. now put one of us on it....and you will get a show. I just pulled 1st place here in Rancho this weekend on my shee. I was soo far in the zone....no one could touch me. Everyone down's on banshee's, then you see an article like that one. No way can you do that to a 4 smoke.

I second the UPP setup. You can get the banshee kit and it has all rollers and sliders for around 80 I thought. and you can get it from them in any color.

Well Randy from GPR called me back. I guess they cant make a mount for the +1 stem. says that if I hit a big enough bump that I will break the mounting bolts. I had to use it, so I modified it myself. I ran it in my race this last weekend and took a 1st place finish in the first moto. Lost my tranny on the last lap and ended up running the second moto with only 3rd and 4th gears. Not exactly a photo start with 3rd gear in the mud. LOL. Anyway, the GPR worked great. I really think I can give my 1st place finish to my new suspension, and stabalizer. the thing is freakin awesome, and I was adjusting it while I was racing. Way easy to adjust.

My money would be on the zuki 450. that thing comes pumped and is FI. days of fun. I will buying next yr's model. tho. let um work out the kinks first. hehe

Ive seen um used from 200-600 I think 400 is a good price for a newer frame. 2000 and up.
