  1. Man...how old is BIG? Im 33...the older U get.....the more stories like this your gonna hear. Live life like you stole it....... get well man.....hope you get riding again real soon.
  2. Bel-Ray sponsored rider here. I have been using Bel-Ray's tranny fluid, mix, and brake fluid for YEARS. my mechanic tells me not to change a thing....so I listen to the guy that seein inside my engine. BEL-RAY 80w. great stuff. Easier to get it by the case. 1500 cc goes in. thats 1 1/2 bottles. I change mine bout every 150 miles. or every other sand trip. which ever is sooner.
  3. same goes for me bro....not to easy to read. the white lettering on top the red symbols is impossible to read. and once I hit the forums....the red outline with black background and white lettering. headache chity. just my 2 cents.
  4. Actually its 2. 1 in the front is worth 2 in the back. I run anywhere from 13-41 to 15-41. I always run 20" rears unless Im desert racin, in that case I run 22" rears for clearance and top end. I run the 13-41 in the sand, 14-41 in the dirt and on tracks, and 15-41 in the desert. I however need more top for my desert racin...so I will going down on the back. resulting in a 15-38 gearing, with 22" rears. No bottom end...in fact I tend to overheat in the longer rocky sections. BansheeBen has a Killer gearing calculater on his web site. I cant remember what it is...but do a search and you should be able to find it. if anything to a search on google for gearing calc's. you will see a noticible difference there on the charts.
  5. man...if only I would have seen this sooner. I was out there that weekend. Maybe next time.
  6. if you decide to go with heim's alone. I know that Janssen Motorsports sells heim upgrades for around the 300.oo range. Heim's are awesome.....Mine are starting to sweak real load. I will be replacing mine soon as well.
  7. I run outerwears on all my shocks. and yes they add life to your shocks. and yes they rub the paint off the shocks. but who cares.....you got outerwears on um anyway. It just suck's that i cant show off my NEW TCS's. cuz they are beautifull. But...I would rather them last longer...than look nice.
  8. Welcome to the HQ. I see your a Raider fan. Does that mean your in the Nor Cal area? I live in rancho cordova, and race VORRA. www.valleyoffroadracing.com ONe of the best feelings in the world is shifting into 6th gear and walking away from those 8000.oo machines. No one can keep up with me at high speed, unless its another banshee. I smoke most 4 bangers now that I have the suspension to get the traction the shee needs. See sig below. No port work. thats next year. Every now and again some kid who can really ride puts me in my place and reminds me that I need to practice more. but I kick everyone's ass. Not to mention 2 strokes take way more baby'n to keep runnin. so IMO, I have way more blood, sweat, and tears in my shee than any of my friends with their 4 bangers. which makes me a better rider, and owner all together.
  9. I run front and back sandstars. and IMO ..they are the same as riding on pavement. they are the best sand tire out there. In fact I ran stock fronts for years....untill I hooked up some sand star fronts.... Now I wont run anything else in the sand...especially stock fronts....with stock fronts you have to let off the gas to turn....which majorly suxors when your climbin a crazy hill with turns in it. with star fronts its full throttle all the way.
  10. Too bad our Banshee's cant do that. I SOOOO WISH my shee could hit a puddle without boggin down. Hell...bigger the puddle the longer I have to wait for her to dry out. Cost me one race. I had first till I hit a puddle the size of a VW van. killed me instantly. Took bout 20 minutes before I could move again, and I missed the cutoff to the second lap. bummer! www.cougarfreakphoto.com look at the yerinton race. youll see me sitting on the side of the road getting passed by quads. then the lovelock pics...you can see the pics of my tire coming off...and my "FIX".
  11. interested in front spindals and rear hubs..... price shipped too.....95670 post here or PM me....thanks
  12. Thanks for the backup Rat..... I was hoping someone would say that.
  13. Im thinking that I shouldnt jet up....because of the elevation. but I need to do a plug chop..to find out if I need to go up at all. But I cant here at home. I live in the city...sux for me. so I gotta take it somewhere to jet her. might as well be there in NV. whatcha think?
  14. I am jetted to sea level. I just installed the RS timing plate, and Im reading that I should go up one size jet in the main. Now the question. Im racing in NV this weekend. ELEVATION 3400 FT. Should I jet up? Who can read this chart?
  15. when are the clothes going to start being torn off? I was hopin for a cat fight. If you girls would like, you can come on down to the california school of tantric sex....I just started up the college yesterday. I will take both of you under my wing and teach you personally. class one. warm that engine up to a purr. class two. ram it dont stroke it. class three. making sandwiches and giving blow jobs! I guarantee when you leave you will be extremely tired. how bout if I just say please and give you my address....lmao. really tho...you two have some serious pent up sexual energy between the two of you. Maybe a little experimenting might be in order?
  16. hahahaha...I just did the timing advance...and I almost broke my ankle trying to kick it with sneakers on. I just gave it a rap...and hell yes it kicked back. bruised my foot. LOL. I love this shit. Hopeing that I dont have to re-jet either....but Im going to do some plug work to find out. wish me luck.
  17. I have no idea bro. Everyone in here does +4. So did I. Something about loosing top end the more you advance it. So basically you gain low end. But guys that port and drag go up to +11.... also...the higher you go....you want to run race gas...something about keeping it from exploding. lol maybe others will chime in too.
  18. I was just checking out PRO-TECT. they make SS plates. Hard as Hard gets. My buddy wants one on his 465ex. 145 for it. not bad...specially if it lasts. According to their site, they are the ONLY producer of SS plates. GO pro-tect.
  19. No shit....We are going this weekend...if I can get the shee together in time. I will be in Lovelock that weekend. the 21-23. Its only bout 30 minutes past sand mountain. I am entering the Lovelock 250. should be awesome! Otherwise, Id stop by and bring some beers. It would be cool to meet some other HQ'rs.
  20. I use Bel-Ray everything. Have for 10 years without fail. Good stuff. pre-mix tranny oil brake fluid
  21. Pro-X's. Or OEM but pro-x's are Better than OEM. Pro-X has to meet OEM specs...so they exceed them. making them the best piston on the market.
