  1. Not trying to be a dick, but 2.5" is actually 63.5mm (there are 25.4mm in 1 inch)
  2. May the force be with you. I went the 4WD Dodge / Weekend Warrior route myself. With the trailer fully loaded I just air the truck tires down to 15psi, put the truck in 4 LO and go where ever I want to camp, soft sand is no problem.
  3. EXACTLY, plus it actually increases the spring rate, I won't bore you with the details , trust me - cutting the springs will actually make the spring stiffer.
  4. Like what? What do they suggest?
  5. I read a press release that fullbore was in the final stages of development on the clear ones (I guess for people to paint the underside of them - like RC car bodies, or just to be different) I don't know if they are avalible as of yet. If someone gets a set post some pictures I for one would like to see them.
  6. Get youself a toy hauler brother and kiss the outhouses good bye.
  7. Damn sredish, you've dumped some cash into that machine in the last couple of weeks. Are you gonna' post any pictures of all the new shiny parts? We want to live vicariously through your bank account.
  8. Fullbore has them, sorry I don't have their web site info.
  9. checkster if you are going to need new springs I can help you out in that dept.
  10. My +4 required 120 links, so, depending on your gearing I'd say 124-125 links and you'll be in good shape.
  11. My oinion is go with a different color, silver, blue, black - something other than flourescent green with the orange plastics - might look like a pile of peas and carrots with banshee noises comming out of the back.
  12. I would stay away from the "scotchbrite" I've found that it is so abrasive that it will scratch the chrome. #00 steel wool with some glass cleaner for lubrication works well for me.
  13. There are some on e bay right now (new complete key / switch assemblies) I think NYUK has one in his auction.
  14. scotts96fast is right, new one of those covers is goin to be pricey. Check on flea bay, or check with cotton eyed joe (Stan) here tell him to get going on making them. For what it's worth I got mine from TM Design works - yes the chaid slider place, they do billet stuff too. High quality, plain no grooves / designs etc...
  15. http://www.razorbackdesigns.com
  16. The RIGHT WAY is WFO (Wide Fucking Open) just tell your friends
  17. Congrats Oilsmoke, just curious on what Jim had to say about the Shearer pipes with his set-up. Good? Bad? otherwise?
  18. I say if that beast is new off the show room floor take that motha' back to the dealer. let them diagnose / fix the issue under warranty.
  19. I'll second that. I think "The Big Labowski" (however it's spelled) is f'n hilarious too.
  20. I remember reading that a lot of people have a hard time getting OEM parts for them, don't recall the reason.
  21. I have a 2 into 1 (not a trinity, but a graydon proline) bottom end is great top end is too, can't tell you how the trinity set up works (I'm sure others will chime in) I say get the 35mm (I've got the PWK Air Stryker) gives you more options for mod's down the road.
  22. Call Todd at TCS (Total Control Suspension) he's the man (909) 245-7484
  23. So would I, the only problem is the fluid istself is EXPENSIVE, and presently the valving (damping) rates of change are small. Ford has been playing with this technology for some time.
  24. The IR 2131 series are the composite ones. We use them here at the shop, one nice feature is that they vent exhaust out the bottom, not out the front. No brake dust in the face is always nice, plus the composite models are lighter than the steel models.
  25. My bike has less motor than yours and I run +4. I ride mostly in the sand, and think the swing arm is a good length. If you are hesatant to go to a +4 the +2 might be a better choice.
