  1. He can do that.Have you been on his web-site? http://passionracingengines.com/
  2. This may or may not be true, but everybody knows that all dyno's read diff. numbers.Still it is impresive numbers for being basicaly stock port timing for the cylinders.
  3. I have the 12 port 4mill. from Jim blueshee03 is talking about.I beat the piss outta this thing at the drags all year with not one problem. It was basicaly one of his high end all around port jobs.I was running beside the full drag ported 7 mill's that could never even think of beeing on the trails.I say trails because betwwen races a few times I took off the wheelie bar put on some inframes, and changed my back tires, and beat even more piss outta it on the trails and hill's. You tell me hows the longevity? And as far as the 450's with bolt on's....They'll see who king of the hill realy is.LOL Just get ahold of Jim and tell him you want a motor built. You would probably like my old motor.Talk to him tell him what you want and see if the motor like I had before would work for you.Tell him the motor Steve had from Pa.He just built me the X3.
  4. Gaskets vary, but stock is about .030.
  5. Why you selling it?
  6. And the pats win.
  7. If you are like me it is too much work.Just order a lonestar banshee hub that uses honda sprockets. Then you can run down to a 32.
  8. Hell yeah it's like adding 20hp for free!!And it's an extra 15 for the rear!LOL
  9. We have never been there yet.But Here is a link. http://www.thundervalleydirtdrag.com/
  10. I think you mean a +8 drag swing-arm.Round carrier.Finish dosen't matter.
  11. At the drags I run 15 16 or 17-38 sprockets. The tracks are 500ft and 600ft. I am very pleased with the engine and can't wait for my other one. Thanks again Jim.
  12. Turbo blue or newtech,I think thats how you spell it.
  13. I think the devil's are to heavy.
  14. Race fuel doesn't give you more power it stops detonation. The power gain would be in running the 17cc domes, because of higher compression. As for shelf life, how long you plan on letting it set!You shouldn't have any problems.
  15. With 185# compression you could get away with a mix of race fuel and gas. What do you mean by crackling noise? What was the ring gap and piston cylinder clearance when you put it together? It could be piston slap.Or maybe you have spark jumping from the plug cap or crack plug.I don't know I never came across a crakling noise.
  16. Vito's super stock pistons are cheap power. But for the price you could find someone to port the cylinders and probably make more power.Or you could get a pair of 28mm pwk carbs, you will notice a differance there as well.Bump up the timing around 4*.What size domes you have and what is your elevation?Could possibly get some higher compression domes. As for the crank being trued and welded I'd do it any way it's cheap insurance, plus it's done already for future mods. You will want the crank welded if you go with alot of compression. Just a few things to think about.
  17. Get ahold of Jim and just explain what you want done and how much you want to pay.I'm sure he can do something for you.He has some major skill.
  18. Looks like a serious place.I wouldn't mind checking it out.

    grr pipes

I have GRR pipes too.I tryed shearers and could tell a huge diff. I'll be sticking with the GRR's.
  20. Shearer builds RDZ's pipes to his specs.
  21. You can find pretty good deals on e-bay sometimes.I've seen them go for $75. to $100. already. They are realy nice if you are running a lock-up clutch. With a lock-up we have had them strech the cable with the clutch in and it would pull you through the lights at the track making you red light. With the hydraulic clutch the lock-up can't stretch anything so you don't roll through the lights when you wack the throttle. I think they are worth the money.
  22. Rudy Kurtz does not have a web-site.The phone number is (760)244-8834.
  23. The override is a very good thing.Rudy Kurtz is king,he was the first man to make them over 25 years ago.Chassis set-up is a big part of it.Lighter parts will help some.Stock frame is fine.Don't spend the money for an aftermarket frame unless you already have everything alse.Drag ported cylinders would be a big help, you will gain alot more than 6 hp.A wheelie bar is a nice piece of security to have. An aftermarket ignition would help.I don't know about the classes at englishtown,But here we have 301-350cc stock and semi pro class 351-500 semi pro 500-open semi pro and top fuel quad. This is all heads up.
