The 3's seem to be holding up better than the 2's,SO FAR.It is a good idea no matter which v-forces you are using 2's or 3's to have some backup pedals.

Yeah they work but you may want to try finding two tires with the same compound.You could also watch e-bay and try to get some jr dragster slicks.They would be your best bet.

For the price of in-frame drag pipes,your best bet is Custom Shearer's.It doesn't realy get any better than a pipe that is custom built to match the engine, and you woulnt realy pay anymore than you would for an off the shelf pipe..Although you say you are stock,so I would go with a cheaper set of used pipes like FMF,Toomey,Paul Turner ect...until you get the engine built the way you want/need.....Thats just my opinion.

Measure from the center of the crank to the center of the lower rod pin(the bigger one).Do a crank you know is stock and then the new one.

For me it was worth every penny

Porting an engine will lower static compression ratio but should not be the determining factor for race fuel or pump gas.If that makes sence.

Do not use the Vito's crank!!I know first hand they are junk!

Thanks guy's we had one hell of a blast.That dirt drag was way off from what we are use to.We don't have as big a traction issue at the other tracks.It was definatley hard to compete when you spin the whole length of the track.I also must say I am very pleased with the way our bike was running.Still pretty fat on the pilot and main, but it pulled like a bitch!We attended two races that day and the one was grass drags.Pop's run some 6.7's at the 500ft grass drags.Between the two of us we made over 50 passes this weekend with no losses.In total we won over $1400. and a trophy. I guess all the hard work is starting to pay off. Maybe we will get a chance to get out and run with some of you guy's, and hang out.

What kinda head is it?I have had my head leak a little like that when I first put it together.I have a Pro Design head and every time I use new O-rings it takes a few heat cycles before it stops leaking.

With out a doubt go with wes's style motor.It's basicaly my old motor but a newer version.The motor is so versatile,you can do everything from lug around the tight trails to beeing very competitve at the drag's. I would invest the money to have the crank trued and welded.It's cheap insurance.For the carbs,stockers would work but you would be alot happier with something bigger.Alot of guy's are using PJ34's but I like the PWK's alot better.If you want the ultimate set of carbs go with some lectrons.For pipes you can't go wrong with Shearer.The more work you do the better they seem to performe.You can actually have a set of Shearer's built to match your motor spec's for about the same price as a set of CPI's.

Dyno Edge and Tyson are both from michigan too.

It works pretty good on grass.Although you could probably find a better way to cut them.I think cutting them like a tractor v pattern would be better for grass,or you could use lots of studs.LOL

I never compared the two on a dyno,but I did compare on the track and the GRR pipes are better.Yes I was running them on a passion 12 port.The GRR pipes are just as Andy says " The best drag pipes you can buy " Shearers will come in second then CPI's third.In most cases that is.It's possible I guess you could find a better pipe for different style motors.But for every motor I tried it was best with the GRR's.

I have never had a problem with Andy.I have not bought as much as NYUK,but I have delt with him enough to know I have always gotten great Customer Service from GRR.I can't wait to get a set of these in-frames either.I have tried many pipes on diff. motor's I've had and The Suicides have worked best. Keep up the good work Andy!

It'll help keep the front tires on the ground,but it is usually harder to get traction if the front set's realy low and the back is up in the air.

We don't run 300ft.We run 500.Right now as it is I'm running mid 6's.I know after I get it tuned in I will see a few high 5 passes,but I think most will be in the low 6's.
