You didn't really stir anything up. This isn't the first time Quick350 has jumped down someones throat when a question was asked pertaining to porting. He obviously has alot of knowledge, but would just assume never share even the slightest little bit.
Here is another post just asking about port specs.

Quick350 will just say send them to a builder, or just start over with a fresh set of jugs and send those to a builder also. What seems to be missed is a few of us would like to learn what does what or what won't do something also. Most builders are afraid to put info pertaining to porting on the internet. So be it, it's there knowledge and they can share if the wish to, but there is no need to be condecending when someone with less knowledge asks a question.
Just sending your cylinders to a builder isn't going to make you fast. Locogato proved this, although some others with similiar cylinders built by the same builder can't say enough good things about them. Does that mean that his cylinders are improperly ported or he doesn't know what he's doing, NO. But it does mean that there is maybe just the slightest little piece of knowledge that is needed here, that just anybody might not know. Why, MAYBE because it's just too damn hard to find information out sometimes, because we just send stuff off to a builder.
It amazes me sometimes how some builders have to keep everything a secret and others will share the knowledge with the rest of us. There is one that posts on here quite frequently, that we have all learned alot from and for that we thank you.
Here is a post I got off PS that has actual port specs by a very respected builder. It just proves that some people will let people learn a little of what they have in their head.

This has become a little too long to keep anyone's interest, so I will let it go at that.
