  1. I only took 1 pic....I will put it up when I get a second. I am tempted to offer the dealer MSRP for the bike and just put it in my living room for a decoration
  2. Brand new leftover 2006 yellow and black special edition Banshee....what is it worth???
  3. Ride lots in the desert and dunes and go through fuel fast....anyone running the IMS 5.6 gallon tank? wondering if installation is easy and if the tank is of good quality. Thanks!!
  4. Will the rebuild kit with the spring/ball bearing fix this??? DoI need to use grease around spring and bearing? Thanks!!
  5. Old chain is long...broke in the sand never to be found again. Specs call for a 520. Thanks
  6. I am putting a new chain on my banshee...should be simple enough but I must be missing something. I have it adjusted all the way back and my new chain in waaaaayyyyy too long. The chain is a 520 and is at least 12 to 15 links too long. I am sure I have it threaded on the correct way, this isn't rocket science......am I missing something. All I can think of is the chain I got is mislabled. Yes, I am running the stock sprockets... Any Ideas of what I am doing wrong??? Thanks!!!
  7. Bent my axle and just picked one up quick on ebay. How long will it take me to swap them out? I am assuming as long as I am in their I will need to replace bearings?? Thanks!!
  8. I am running the stock 26mm carbs however they have been taper bored. Thanks for your thoughts!
  9. My motor was built by White Knuckle Racing in Oregon. They specialize in Banshee's and it has been bullet proof. It was ported with a full Race port for the sand. So you are probably right about the narrow band. I am running toomey t-5's. I am wondering if V-force reeds would help??
  10. I am currently running the Toomey T-5's..full race port
  11. I own a 2001 Banshee with several mods including a 5mm stroker. It dyno's out at 73 HP and runs really strong as long as you can keep it in the power. I ride mainly sand and ride with 2 other banshee's that are just piped, jetted & run k&n clamp ons. As expected I am faster than both of them but my bike is so much harder to ride. When I jump on one of their quads it is so easy to stay in the power band....start bogging down drop a gear and you are off. On mine I am constantly fanning the clutch and down shifting to stay in the power. It almost feels like my top end is bad but compression is good and jetting is spot on. The problem is worse the hotter she gets. I am wondering if it could be my TORS system giving me problems? Thought maybe clutch but doesn't feel like it is slipping...just really tough to keep in the power. I added a 13 tooth sprocket hoping that would help but no change. Sorry for the long post. I just thought with so much more power than stock it would be a little easier to stay in the power. Any ideas? Thanks!!
  12. I recently blew out one of my stock front shocks and desperately need one. I am planning on putting on new a-arms, elka shocks, axle and brake lines in the coming months but don't have the cash to do it now. I am closing on my new house in 2 weeks and with x-mas and all....you get the picture. We are planning a big ride over new years weekend and I just need something to get me by. I am happy to pay for a descent shock, I just don't want to dump a ton of money into something that will be only used for 1 trip. If anyone has 1 stock banshee shock I would be glad to work a deal on it and of course pay for shipping etc. Thanks!
