  1. I third that.
  2. Dual clamp ons are the same way. I actually had an easier time tuning from right off idle, beausse I could actually hear the air speed change from the crack of the throttle. I like the noise.
  3. Mostly stock. Newer Factory replacement frame(has no Vin on new frame.) Gold Series pipes with Toomey silencers. Plastics from a 98. Holds just under 110lbs in both cylinders. Runs good, has tors removed, Vitos idle kit and carb caps. Since there doesn't seem to be too much interest in the quad complete, I will be parting it out. PM offers if interested, everything will eventually be put on Ebay. Quad is complete and running perfectly. The pic doesn't seem to want to work anymore, so if intersted in something just PM me and I can get pics of anything.
  4. For the most part, Yes. Trans out of an RZ doesn't have The best ratios for a quad, but the shift forks make for better shifting. It will all fit fine, though.
  5. That could be a problem.
  6. I agree with Jinx here, have you mixed up PlanetSand and Bluetraxx? The PS guys are with out a doubt the most serious guys you will run in to about going fast. Calling people "gay" is usually the trade mark of Bluetraxx.
  7. Meat still frequents here quite often. Just send him a PM. I do not consider myself to be an expert by a long shot, but I have one motor with RZ jugs on a Banshee bottom end running right now, with a stroker being built as money allows. Meat had a great section going for RZ's, but I don't know if he ever got the motor running or not.
  8. Almost. http://www.bansheehq.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=36969
  9. "Probably" not much more than make it louder. Ask Loco, he did a very clean job on his.
  10. I don't want to turn this into another one of those threads, but I completely agree.
  11. Nyuk or Ebay. They aren't exactly the same, but Banshee cases work fine with RZ jugs, the tach won't have any place to hook to though.
  12. Yep. you will probably need to loosen the gold arm on the side that locks it, but that is all there is to it.
  13. Unscrew that whole cap on top. The slides will come out with it. You can then take the small clip out of the inside of the slide to release the cable and proceed to clean whatever you would like.
  14. Rocketpig's PR may once again be able to bring Trinity's cutomer service back to where it was and where is should be. Good job, we know at least two good people work there.
  15. I've got one stock stroke ported RZ motor, and a stroker that in the process of a very slow build. I agree it makes a huge difference. Up until I bought another stocker I forgot just more shitty the Banshee bottom end is.
  16. It really depends on what you are looking for in a motor. RZ's and Banshees seem to be able to put out about the same power with a drag type port. I f you are looking for a more ridalbe motor with a smooth powerband, then the RZ is a good choice, if you are looking for a drag motor, stick with the Banshee jugs.
  17. A friend of mine built mine with parts from a muffler shop. He got a flat flange that was close enough to the right fit, and we just ground the bolt holes to fit. Once we had the actual tube inside the flange, we test fit everything because thew tube come off the flange at a weird angle. It needs to be turned a few degrees, but not much. We just welded some washers on there to fit the pipes spring too. I just went to an Ace hardware with the weasurements of the top spring that I needed and searched until I found the right one. To tell you the truth, mine fit's so damn tight that I forget to put the springs back on quite often. I did put some high temp Orange RTV on everything up there just in case. I do have rocket pipes on mine and they do take O-rings but I think that was already cleared up.
  18. I just waited for my wife to lower her expectations. If she has a problem with me I just won't invite her to my next wedding.
  19. January's Background Now I get it. Do me a favor AtvStunter, don't home school your children.
  20. Disturbing.
  21. I can't add a whole lot to this besides fuel consumption, becasue I have only had it for 5000 miles. I've got an 05 Excursion with the 6.0 auto. Mixed driving it's been right around 17 and highway it gets anywhere from 19 to 21 if I hold it around 70. 80 miles an hour seems to consume about twice the fuel. The truck so far has been problem free, although I'm not really impressed with the trans shift points. It seems to hold gears entirely too long when not on the gas hard. I can't comment on the interior of all the years, but the 05 Limited is pretty damn nice.
  22. Thanks guys, I found it. It was hidden very well right behind and above the passenger tow hook. I did have to be a "contortionist" to get to it as I was warned. Thanks again
  23. Yes, it is. Thanks Sredish, I do believe they have forgot yo install mine.
