  1. I've got one too if Holyman can't find his.
  2. I think you may have missed the point. If you spray the bottom and top with primer and then paint from underneith all you would see is primer. If you use primer on only one side and spray from underneith all you will see is primer again. I'm not really worrying about it, I was just curious. I was just wondering if anybody had done a pretty intricate(sp) paint job from the under side. I may be thinking wrong, but all the little finishing details would have to go on first and what would be the base color would actually have to be applied last. That would take some real skill and I would like to hear how hard it really is.
  3. yep.... That probably would look good. I just have no use for big wheels, big tires I'm all for. Anything bigger than stock wheels reminds me of Navigators and Escalades running around the city that probably don't have any idea what a manual locking hub is. I'm a little more of a function over form type, even though we got all the stupid options on this thing. I have to admit the heated seats are kind of nice though, I will appreciate them when it drops below zero. I'm pretty happy with it right now, but I'm sure I will be looking to get some new "toys" for it in the future.
  4. Here is a quick pic. It makes my ZR2 look like a play toy.
  5. You have with out a doubt the best arsenal of smilies I've ever seen.
  6. whoa. that would take some serious thinkage. the paint would look like ass if all you saw was primer. but if you put the primer on the backside of the paint it would do nothing at all to help in the paint adhering to the plastic itself. i wonder how they would do that. do you think they would use some sort of single stage paint or something? Maybe we can get Walter to answer that for us.
  7. That is a serious hole in his leg. What the hell did they stitch him with? They look like shoe laces, and they didn't close the hole for shit.
  8. fuckin yeah dude. whatcha gettin first? chip, tires, or propane injection. did you get the 4wd or 2? It's an 05 limited 4x4. I will have to get some pics up soon, but it really looks like every other Ex out there. The mods will have to wait, this thing will probably become a glorified grocery getter and hauling all 10 lbs of my son with my wife behind the wheel when it's not towing.
  9. 8 3/4" side to side not including mounting tabs 18 1/2" top of filler to bottom of outlet I can get more accurate measurements if you want to know with mounting tabs, and if you really want it down to the 1/16, but these will give you a good idea.
  10. I agree they probably wouldn't stay nice and clear for long. I think in theory it's like an rc car body. You paint it from underneith and the paint comes out flat and shiny and won't scratch everytime you hit something or roll. It would have to be strange to have a custom paint job done, it would have to be done in the reverse order if I'm thinking right.
  11. You're kidding, right? You really are stupid, aren't you.
  12. In Atv Fury 1, there was a Banshee. It actually even sounded like one too.
  13. I do appreciate your advice, but the King Ranch is a little too down home for me. If I needed to haul hay or chicken feed, that model of the 250 would have been a much better choice. I already have a pickup for that. I don't really see where a 250 can go that my EX can't. I brought it home on Tuesday and have been loving it so far. Well...up until I had to fill it up from 1/4 and it cost $75, I guess I will get used to that. 800 miles on a tank is nice though.
  14. I don't know if PEP has their own site. but I had mine built by Baldwin Motorsports. http://www.baldwinmotorsports.com/
  15. Technically, since this is in general disussion, it is OK to post just about anything.
  16. Oneal Harwares. I have only used them twice and they still suck, but I still have hope.
  17. Just when I think you can't be dumber, you go and type something like this and "totally redeem yourself."
  18. As much a we all love our quads, Banshee's are just not known for their low end. I have gone a long way to make my motor as smooth as I could and it still won't pull down low like the big bore singles will. When you really start to work out the numbers, it takes quite a bit of $ to build the 500cc twins. And if you really need to ask why, you will never understand the answer.
  19. Aound $6000ish seems to be the norm around here. To be completely honest with you, if you are not dead set on buying new the used Banshee market sucks for sellers and is great for buyers. I completely understand why someone would want a new one, but if you compare the quad side by side with a used one and look at the two prices, you would probably want the used one. Used Banshees aren't worth crap right now, they do seem to pick up somewhat in the winter, but not much. It's just another avenue to look at if you aren't looking to finance. Good luck. broke
  20. Fuckers Only Run Downhill Mostly Old Parts And Rust Non Athlethic Sport Centered Around Rednecks
  21. As far as warranty goes..... Just remember.... "If you wanna play, you're gonna pay". If you put in a programmer with a 6" lift and 37" tires, don't go into the dealership asking for a new tranny. That's when common sense comes into play. I understand that. What I was really asking is if some of the electronic parts were just plug ins or did they need to be spliced in? And if they did anything to the computer that would show up even after being removed if warranty work was needed. I most likely won't be touching this thing for a long time, I was just curious. Thanks
  22. Keep up the great information, I have nothing to add to any of this because I have no diesel knowledge, but already learning alot. Are any of these parts just bolt ons? And is there any way to trace if the truck has had any of these parts on it? I would just like the warranty to last until at least half way through the payments.
  23. It came home tonight. but it was too dark for some pics. I am amazed how quite the 6.0 is compared to the 7.3. Less motor noise, but now you can here the turbo more. Hopefully it will be a good truck. So many toys to play with and I don't even know how to work most of them, but the wife likes it so that's all that counts right now.
  24. I don't even have all those words in my vocabulary.
