stock and ported is usually a night and day difference. once you get ported you wont ever wanna ride anything less. rebelbanshee hit it on the head.

rocky mountain. primary drive sells sprockets. fronts are 6.99 and rears are 14.99. cant beat that. ive never had any problems with them either. i run did x ring chains. they are nice. never a problem there either.

just keep everything straight when you tear something apart so that you dont lose it. get a clymers manual if you dont already have one. umm if you have any specific questions post them up!

you really dont need new carbs unless you are going to do some extreme porting or other built up shit. if you are just runnin pipes and filter just leave the stock carbs. i have heard they will actually out perform a stock engine. so with pipes and air filter you should be about right. you have to leave some electrical. the stuff that comes out of the stator side of you engine and what not that runs to the back of the quad, and some little shit up front must stay. you can just unplug the lights. you can get rid of the key switch if you want. just cut the wires then i think you need to crimp them together. its been a while since i last did this so i may be backwards. just try it and if it starts, thats how you shoud leave it. you can get rid of the taillight as well. just unplug it.

yea go on up with the main. have you checked the plug? you may be too lean. im running 320 mains in stock cars with some mild portwork. it fuckin screams. i bet youre too lean, id run it WOT and then check the plugs. then check back here with your results.

That purple cylinder thing started off for recognition at race tracks."Man, look at those purple motors run" kinda thing. Nobody really cares for the color though.But it does stand out for sure, which was my goal. As for the 12 ports, I feel they work just fine. Ive had non drag motor strokers dyno out at 80 horses R.W.H.P. and 45 ft. lbs of torque. The absolute best testimonial Ive had though came from Jinx44, his bike is featured in my photos as Richard S. in Missouri. i dont know how good they are but alba sells a kit with a arms, works shocks and steel braided brake lines for about 1,000. it might be worth checking out if you dont do any really huge jumps or anything like that. i have elkas on mine and i like them a lot. theres no way i could bottom them out and ive done some pretty stupid stuff with them on.
