you guys have it all wrong. banshee cylinders are NOT nickelsealed. and im about 95% positive you cant bore nickelseal cylinders. you have to have them replated.

i think youd be way better off puttin a turbo on. i think the most efficient superchargers are belt driven and that may be kind of hard to achieve on a banshee.

i put a cr500 in my banshee frame. it just takes time and a lot of patience. be prepared to spend some money also. your biggest problem will be making the sprockets line up. the pipe and silencer situation is a pain too. lemme know if you need any ideas.

pull the spark plug and then put the cap back on. ground it and kick it over and see if you have any spark. if no spark its more than likely the stator.

id take an R, but itd be gettin a cr500 engine in it quick like.

5800??? thatsfuckin rediculous. i could buy an old shit 250r and do the conversion for waaaay less than that. so maybe he has some shocks and shit but theres no way for 5800. i still think the cr500 in a banshee is a lot cooler.

blasters are sweet. i had 2 of them before i got into banshees. very good quad to ride and get used to before stepping up to a banshee.

i know i know, i need some pictures. i have a ton of video on my sony camera, i just have to figure out how to get it on my computer. and yes, there are hills in kansas. its like 8 miles from the missouri border so maybe thats why. oilsmoke, the hill is about 200 feet im guessin. its hard to say because its terraced and what not. im gonna work on it tonight and see if i cant get the video on here. if anyone has any ideas about how to do it let me know. there is a way to get them directly to imgagestation isnt there?

led, i knew you were in kansas but i wasnt for sure how far away. the next one is like may 23rd i believe. its a blast, im sure youd have a hell of a time. im gonna be getting some pictures at the next one. i have video, but dont know how to get it on my computer yet. maybe ill figure it out sometime soon. coop, yea my banshee is a lot quicker than the 450 especially at hillclimbing. the 2 stroke quads always run faster than the 4 strokes on this hill. its kind of funny tho, because my time on the 450 was faster than all but like 3 of the 2 stroke quads. you guys from kansas should check it out sometime. when i get home later ill post a schedule, that way you guys can check it out if you want. thanks guys!!

well we had the first hillclimb of the year in troy, kansas on sunday. there were ton of 4 wheelers and a lot of bikes. the owner redid the hill from last year and put this jump deal ta the top of it. it sent two of the guys riding big bikes(cr500's and shit) to the hospital. i need to get some pictures at the next one. anyway, there were four 4 wheeler classes. 2 and 4 stroke stock and modified. fastest time ever on a 4 wheeler was 6.9 on a ported banshee.(2 stroke modified class) i ran my first runs and ran 7.5s on the cr500 banshee(2 stroke modified), my new banshee(2 stroke stock) and my yfz450(4 stroke modified). at the end of the first round i was winning 2 stroke stock and 4 stroke modified, and 3rdp lace in 2 stroke modified. we went 2nd runs and i ran a 6.8 on the cr500 banshee(i now hold hill record on a 4 wheeler), the next best time was 7.2 run by the guy that had the fastest time on the hill previously. needless to say he was not happy. i about shit myself when i heard my time. i then ran a 7.1 on my stock banshee and then another 7.4 on the 450. i won all 3 classes i entered, and would have won the 4 stroke stock class had i entered. good way to start off the hillclimb season i guess. last year i dominated 2 stroke stock class and plan to do the same in all my classes this year. got1banshee came and i guess he had a pretty good time. id like to see some more hq members at the next one.

yes you need to replace the seals. i can see the shift shaft, but the kick starter? i thought it set up high enough to where oil wasnt gonna just leak out of it. was this after you were riding it hard? sounds kind of funny to me. but ifthey are leaking replace them as soon as possible. actually if those 2 are leaking who knows what else is. how old is the engine? bottom end ever been apart? might be a good time to check..

scotts96, maybe her hands just arent seasoned for it. they prolly arent used to that kind of abuse. im sure once she gets used to it her hands will become tougher. i know that when some people start working in contruction their hands arent used to it. they get callussed and shit, but after while they dont. you know what i mean?? sweetchee, get on the inside. watch his body. as soon as ou see him start to move, move to the side, then in. you have to be ready to hit him when hes trying to hit you. you hit him a couple good times in the gut and i bet he wont be swingin too much. if you wanna try something that is alot more fun, in my opinion, try bare knuckle boxing. just body shots tho. we used to do it all the time. me and about 3 friends would have the "cool" kids stop by to box cuz they thought they were the shit. we would beat the shit out of them. try it sometime. itll really seperate the men from the boys.

thats fuckin gay. i have never liked circuit city. i usually go to best buy if at all possible. they are kinda like wal-mart, theyll always make it right with you.

suspension then engine. go with some elkas, you wont regret it. i have never even come close to bottoming mine out.

i wouldnt bother with one. hard to get parts for i hear and they arent that fast. at least none that ive raced were fast. i guess if you wanted to race mx itd be ok, but then again id still go with a 450
