  1. anyone else have this problem? mines real stiff. is there anyting special i should have done to make them less stiff. i think my thumb will wear out. or is this just how they are? i have the steel braided terry cable too. i need to fix this shit or something, its STIFF.
  2. we have a ton of them here in missouri. i hate them bastards.
  3. thats tight man. lemme know how it turns out if you decide to do it.
  4. the only cutting i had to do was cut off the stock rear motor mount tabs. i also got rid of anything unnecessary. i just made the 4 motor mounts, which is kinda a pain in the ass. you thinkin about doing something like this?
  5. itd be hard to beat. its got so much fuckin power and torque i dont ever have to use any clutch. i can hit hills in high gears and it wont even get bogged down. just admit it sredish, you want a cr500 banshee.
  6. haha hell yea. what a great way to start the way, with a holyman email conversation! oh yea, theres this kid here that rides mx, or so he thinks he can. anyway, hes got a 250r and the only time it even leaves the shop is for a race. he never practices, or just rides for that matter. what a waste of a perfectly good quad.
  7. bizzump. my stuffs on the way. any other ideas??
  8. ive got them on my silver banshee and i like them a lot. they are more expensive but if you have someone swap out your tires, itll pay off in the end. i paid 680 for the set thru magnolia yamaha. i wouldnt go with red rings. it wont really match your frame exactly. my brother has black on his 04 yfz450 which is white, and it looks sick.
  9. i thought 2034 was the last year for them?
  10. do you mean the bleader screw? you should be able to just tighten it up. lemme know if thats not what your talking about.
  11. yea ive been hurt dickin around before. couple years ago when i was still ridin the blaster, i hit this double at a buddys small track and broke my collar bone in 3 places. now i have a titanium plate and 8 screws in in there. it wasnt much fun, but i never had any pain. they even gave me a morphine drip i never used.
  12. i had a buddy that was holding the tube for artillery shells. fuckin idiot has a blister the size of a quarter. he was in a lot of pain.. i could only laugh.
  13. this is exactly the kinda review i wanted to hear. i placed my order with minkia38 on friday and they should be shipping in the next day or so. i cant wait to get them, and combined with my passion 12 port 4 mill stroker, they should rip. ill give a review of all of it when its done, hopefully within about a week or so. man those pipes look sweeeeet
  14. if you switch them your banshee will fire on the wrong order meaning 6 gears of reverse..... jk. i dont think it matters, but id keep them on the same deal. if all else fails, try them both and see which way runs better.
  15. what kind of pullers did you use? if you tried to use a jaw like puller it wont work. you need to use a flywheel puller. dealerships usually have them for about 12 bucks. this is the ONLY way you should try and get it off.
  16. dude, your avatar is sweeeeeet.
  17. if its antifreeze you may need to tighten your head down a little more. the only other place it may be able to get in is thru a crank bearing, but i doubt it would be that. what kinda head you have? if it uses o rings are you sure they all got on where they are supposed to go? if stock, was it a new gasket?
  18. youd be a lot better off not doing a halfass rebuild job. just have it bored to the next size up and do it right.
  19. that would be sick. surely it could be done. battery, some wiring, and a custom starter mount. i think it could be done.
  20. word. im not even sure the TORS works properly. its never shut my bike down or anything, and ive had it pinned on long hillclimbs for what it seems like forever.
  21. priorities son. whichever will keep food on the table is what you should spend your money on.
  22. i run the EBC clutch plates and fibers. its cheap and ive never had any problems with it. if i do, i can buy another set for like 60 bucks.
  23. fuckin right it was!! thanks for the congrats
  24. if you dont ever plan on doing any porting then id go with t6's. if you plan on porting then go with t5's. i have no experience with the other pipes so i cant help you much there. i do know that toomey makes a quality product and ive never had any problems with mine.
