  1. i run one on the cr500 banshee. tuning is simple once you understand how to do it. all the adjustment is in the needle and then mine has a powerjet on top for top end. bad thing is they are fuckin expensive...id check PS for someone selling them.
  2. FAST clutch fo sho. call jeff he can set you up.
  3. night and day difference.
  4. with some clutch work it could prolly happen. otherwise comin around those corners you wont be powering out unless you clutch it. id go with something else for flat tracking.
  5. no idea. id still go with rockets or even t5's over t6's anyday...
  6. i also run hillclimbs and i run the 421 cubs. mine dont have any bottom end but thats not anything i cant fix with a little clutch work. im positive mine makes at least 90hp. it flat out hauls. check out the video section for some hillclimbs ive run this year. and by the way how are you gonna run a 421 and be ama legal? isnt the rule that you cant be more then 2mm stroke or 80 overbore? wont the 421 be too big for this limit?? i might not be right on this but when i went to minnesotal ast year i got an ama rule book and i swear thats what it said. you goin to nationals this year? i kinda wanted to go but its not even an invitational. any pud ass hillclimber can go. id hate to get out there and have to run against of slowpokes
  7. yes ill def agree for a bolt on NOS will get you most power possible..i reallywanna run NOS. i might talk to GT performance about it. anything special u have to do??
  8. haha no i was just kididng. mine dont have any bottom end. you didnt read wrong. it was just funny cuz in that post there were a few guys saying that you could get bottom end out of them..i was being sarcastic when i said this...
  9. my bro has one that hes not using aymore. send him a message..stclark816
  10. air strykers are a newer style of the pwk carbs. basically the same thing with some different venting and shit i think.
  11. no way man, cubs most certainly can have bottom end!! you must have missed the 10 page post about it they are sick for hillclimbing. just better know when to use the clutch if you have to back off the throttle...i bet the cost difference between cubs/cheetahs doesnt reflect in the banshee/rz cylinders...arent PV cheetahs like 2000 bucks??
  12. PS is so fuckin wrapped up in HP they dont give 2 shits about anything else. of course thats all dragging over there and neither a 450r of yfz450 is all that great for dragging. im guessin they would just use whatever makes more hp.
  13. i do see where you guys are coming from on the NOS subject. yea i think its cool and id like to fuck with it but in all reaility i dont have much use for it. when im hillclimbing theres not usually a point to where i could use it so i dont mess with it. if i were dragging id def have it tho. to me the idea of replacing porting with NOS seems kinda stupid. i would rather have power all the time than only when i hit a button, because eventually you will run out of NOS. the other problem here is that there is no where that will fill those little bottles. they do the big bottles for cars and shit but no1 will touch the little ones. so for someone who doesnt have erasy access to a place to have their bottle filled NOS isnt much of an option. in that case porting is gonna be their best power gain. dont get me wrong id love to try some NOS sometime. but i think itd get expensive for me because id be on it ALL the time.
  14. youll need different intakes. i use the boss intake you can get from passion racing. i think its about 150 bucks. you can get other intakes that dont look a bling for around 100 i think. your jetting should prolly use a 158-165 main jet and 42-48 pilot. my regular 35mm pwk are jetted at 162 main and 45 pilot for 1000 ft above sea level.
  15. buy from anyone but trinity. i would go with the cubs if i were you. they run hard. go to planet sand and look at all their sponsors. any of them can build a cub setup for you..
  16. thats pretty cool...but 1200 bucks?? damn
  17. haha yeaaaa. wish i would have known that id be racing on petrified dirt last time. i have several sets of studded tires that would have hooked awesome on that shit. im bringin a ton of tires. ive got 4 snows, my hillclimb tires, my studded tires and paddles of course...there will be lots of videos for sure!!!
  18. i agree. just have it ported and lose the t6's...
  19. you know ill be there to get my ass whooped!!! what kinda tires do i need to bring??
  20. those circuits overlap more than you think...
  21. i have a 44mm lectron with powerjet on my cr500 banshee. i guess when you get them tuned in they are fine. i went thru 2 different needles before i found the right one. the needles are 30 bucks...its nice to not have jets and shit. they are easy to adjust. it just takes some time gettin used to them. it would kinda suck to have to jet 2 but if you have a dyno in the area with air/fuel sensor id tune it in on that.
  22. i would try a 270 and see what happens. what do your plugs look like at 280??
  23. i bought my 2002 cbr f4i with a bunch of aftermarket shit on it for 5300..i would pay cash and go with liability. thats what i did. its 375 a year for liablity thru progressive. gas mileage is unreal..maybe 150 miles to a tank?? not 100% sure tho..
  24. sweet. now all you need is some 33's on that beast...
  25. yo whats up man? hows it going? whats goin on over there? are you allowed to tell us any inside news??? keep us posted...
