  1. off the subject but what does noss stand for?
  2. i have also heard great things about whiteknuckle! they are here in oregon and hear they can build some great machines! I am also tryin to figure out what builder to have! redline or whiteknuckle
  3. I am almost %100 positive im going to get a nice dune port by redline racing and throwing in a long rod crank get it trued and welded and all that good stuff. My question is what carbs should i get? *note* later on down the road im going to upgrade to a cub and a 4mill. thanks!!!!
  4. Why not get cubs and run pump gas? you can easily run those with pump if set of cubs just depends on how you build it!
  5. How well would this set up be? A 358 cub with a redline clean up dune port get me some new stock stroke long rods and get them trued and weilded run some 35pwks and cool it with a new oversized radiator! Obviously im shooting for the most reliable engine possible one that i can ride for long periods of time out in the sand! Please give me input! also is there a cub cylinder i could combo with just a long rod crank instead of a stroker? Give me your input please and try to give me the most reliable set up!! thanks
  6. when i just bought my 06 i got some t5's k&n pods and vforce 3 reed valve system that would wake up your bike! there is really no need messing with an aftermarket head on a stock banshee imo
  7. Ok for those people out there saying that the la sleeve 409 cylinder can not out perform a cub they are wrong!! I mean yeah a cub is better out of the box but dropping a little bit of money into that cylinder will do wonders for the bike! I just came across dennis packard and he builds his banshee's off of the la sleeve and those are some of the fastest running bikes out there! I was planning on doing a 4mill cub but im going to go for a little more money and get the las cylinder with a 4mill!! wow im excited to get this goin. im not going to build a dragger im going to be building a reliable duner thats going to kick ass!!
  8. I got mine for $222 on rockymountainatv.com
  9. I was hearing that they have a barrnett clutch basket for a banshee is it true?
  10. Ok last weekend i went to sand lake in oregon to test out my new t5, k&n pods and vforce 3 reeds on my new 06 shee. I was recommended a 310 main 30 pilots and the needle one groove lower ( rich side) . The mix in my banshee's tank was 32:1 it was running alright i guess not exactly tuned seemed a little rich cuz i had no bottom i mean i was going up tree shots in 1st and not being able to get to secound! then my mix in my gas jug was mixed 40:1 when i put that in this is when it started running hella weird...... when i started it back up i gave it some gas and the damn thing was boggin hella bad i mean the parking break was off and everything and i was giving it half throttle full throttle everything!!!! any ways i let it idle for a little bit then i gas and it revs up like it used to without bogging but when i went riding down the flats it was fine but when i had to slow down or downshift it would start bogging when you give it gas then you would have to wait again. my guess and my buddies guess was that my jets are set up way to rich for it and since the gas was leaned out a little bit all that gas was getting shot in my carbs with nowhere to go but i am not a pro at this stuff so i need some help and what i should tune my bike at now!!! thanks!!!
  11. how about needle i hear that is hard to get to!!!
  12. Hi all i just got my parts in today for my new 06 shee! t5's, k&n clamp on's, and vforce3's and im shooting to go riding on friday but my mechanic is on vacation so i need to learn how to jet a carb lmao how bad does that sound!!! any ways i was wondering if you guys could get me detailed descripton on how to rejet a carb! is it hard to a new one? give me the 411 haha thanks!!
  13. I am looking in the near future to purchase a big bore cylinder and have been doing a lot of research on the la sleeve 409 bolt on. What i am looking for is something different than the cubs BUT dont get me wrong i love the cubs they can run hard and are reliable but i would like to try something else that runs hard to. The 409 is known for its cooling capacity and its unique design and i am liking it the more i look into it. yes cost wise the cub would be the way to go but at this point money isnt really that much of a factor! What i was planning on doing was ordering this bolt on from la sleeve and taking it down to my local shop redline and let them get me a awsome dune port and get my engine to a 4 mill!!!!!! please give me some input!!
  14. Do you ride at the oregon coast?
