  1. not that great. the weather sucked and it was pretty muddy this morning. they did a shitty job planning this one. yea it was a little sloppy in the pit area. the hill was pretty good. yea, times will drop with better traction. i wont be back at this hill for another year though. i do have a climb up in minnesota next weekend though. haha they are climbs, but sometimes the jumps send you sailing, especially at these speeds. haha yea right son! come get some! yea, it pulls hard once it starts hooking up. its fucking nuts.
  2. you mainly riding dirt right? STI Dirt Trax are good tires and so are the Ohtsu Radials.
  3. the hillclimb game has come a long way since then. none of those setups would even be remotely competitive anymore.
  4. here it is... bike is fucking MEAN. had some fouled plugs in the first run. kinda ran like shit but still good.. the second run is where the magic is.
  5. i think its going to end up being more of a hassle than what its worth. in the end youre going to have a halfway banshee frame with ltr450 suspension on it. youd be better off putting the banshee motor in the suzuki frame.
  6. set up is key. the tires youre running now are the first thing that needs to go. they are junk, dont hook up and will dig holes when you need them to be pushing you forward the most. i would also recommend going with a +2 or +4 arm for that added stability when climbing the steep hills. that will be long enough to help keep the front end down but not hinder regular riding. going with some aftermarket shocks will also help put the power to the ground. it all depends on how much you wanna spend.
  7. 2-4 duneable.
  8. fo sho! i hate when people are like, "fuck spelling and punctuation. i can say whatever i want. i didnt know i was in school on the forum." well damn, i mean this shit is written. how else are we supposed to be able to understand what youre saying!
  9. what kind of hillclimbing are we talking about? hills in the woods or competition hillclimbing?
  10. man, communication on a forum is all written. spelling and punctuation should be taken seriously considering its the main form of communication.
  11. Brandon, I have a 2006 YFZ450.. Let me know what you need...
  12. we need more info. this story doesnt make sense. so you decided that since the carbs werent getting fuel to spray fuel in? how long did you think it was going to run like that? was that fuel premix? why didnt you figure out why the carbs werent getting gas? are you sure the top end is locked up? how do you know that the kicker is just not stuck?
  13. you dont need any special tools to set up the suspension on a banshee. a 2' level, a tape measure and a good eye will do just fine. of those, id go with the wickeds. my buddy just bought a set of them and they are pretty nice. my next a-arms will come from Stellar without a doubt. Tim builds some of the nicest stuff around.
  14. ive been running this for years and never had a problem.. its like $2.49 a quart so i can afford to change it a lot.
  15. its there. you can barely see it just to the bottom left of the carb bowl. it holds the clutch arm in but doesnt necessarily hold the washer down tight.
  16. it could go either way. they will have the weight advantage and the 450's run hard. i say buy the banshee and build a motor that will whip their asses every time.
  17. its just supposed to keep the spring from pressing into the clutch arm seal. if your clutch arm is all the way down, there should be enough pressure to keep the washer from bouncing around.
  18. Brandon, it says their transaction started at the beginning of February. That's over 2 months ago. More than ample time to call and notify someone if something did happen.
  19. sweet, i just downloaded it. i had no idea that id have to do that. i have a gopro camera too and its pretty easy to use. a couple times i missed video though because the button didnt get pushed just right. i like the slide on/off on the vholdr..
  20. hmm, what a coincidence. bansheeboyz racing is in atmore, alabama. im betting this is them under a new name since they have been apparently ripping people off. do yourself a favor and buy a tranny from one of the sponsors.
  21. just buy a one tooth bigger or smaller rear sprocket. sounds like you need to go roundhouse carrier and do away with the lame stock stuff.
  22. what the hell, i didnt know i had to convert it. i also use windows movie maker. how did you convert the videos?
  23. yep. ive never had an issue with them. me and my brother both still run them.
  24. i would stay far away from the 450 front end. buy banshee arms and shocks and be done with it. in order to run the 450 shocks with banshee arms, the arms need to be +2.
