  1. Problem is that I need 530 sprockets so someone will probably have to custom make them. No, 4 sprockets. They are $70 a piece plus the shipping. Aluminum is apparently really expensive.
  2. The ones that I have from Sprocket Specialists are all aluminum. I wanted steel but they did not offer them. There are plenty more sprocket makers out there and they will be getting my business. Sprocket Specialists will never see another dime from me and I encourage everyone on BansheeHQ to use any alternative to them.
  3. Brandon, I am going to use the Honda 4 bolt Banshee hub to get into the smaller size rear sprockets. Is that something you can do?
  4. Yea for sure. IN fact, since I posted this thread earlier today here and on ATVDR, I have been linked to and found myself several other quality looking custom sprocket makers. Funny how the economy works huh? Sprocket Specialists tells me to get fucked, yet they will be the ones who lose in the end. That dumb ass on the phone didn't know that I will be ordering two of each 34-39 within the next few weeks more than likely. By my calculations and what I've spent with them already this year, that's about $840. Unfortunately for them, I will be ordering them from one of the many other sprocket manufacturers.
  5. OK, here is the deal. We needed smaller rear sprockets for our new setups. My dad calls and talks to Dee Dee at Sprocket Specialists about a 38 and 39 aluminum rear sprocket. He asks her specifically if the chain will clear the hub. She said that she did not know and that she would call him back. My dad receives a call back from her stating that her son works for a Banshee builder and that they run them all the time with no issues. So my dad orders two of each in 530 aluminum at $293.52 total. We get the sprockets yesterday and find that neither sprocket will work because the chain will not clear the hub. OK, no big deal. I call Sprocket Specialists and talk to Dee Dee. I tell her the issue and she says that she "sells these sprockets all the time" and there's never an issue. I say, well they will not work on a stock Banshee hub. She says that the hub might have to be modified and that she isn't responsible for knowing that when she specifically told my dad that the chain would clear the hub. She tells me that I am out of luck because they are special order items and that she cannot issue a refund for them. I explain to her that this is not my fault and that I ordered $800 worth of usable sprockets earlier this year. She says that the company cannot budge on company policy. I then proceed to tell her that I own BansheeHQ.com and that I would let 20,000 Banshee riders know how they do business. All of a sudden she can offer a refund on the sprockets at a 30% restocking fee plus I have to pay for return shipping. So that's about $100. I ask her why they have a 30% restocking fee on items they "sell all the time." She then backtracks to say that she isn't sure when they will have an order for them. I said well that's not really acceptable but I will send them back anyway and still let many Banshee riders know about this. Bottom line is I have $300 worth of scrap aluminum sitting here that isn't doing me any good. I really expected them to take care of this issue considering she made a call and even called my dad back and told him they would clear with no issues. I have always used Sprocket Specialists but can honestly say that this is the last time I will be dealing with them. If this were Rocky Mountain ATV I would have been issued a refund immediately with no questions asked. Unfortunately, RMATV does not sell sprockets like that. I am not one to complain about things. I can't remember the last time I made a post about a bad seller or anything like that. But I thought that the way she handled the situation was not right. Before I said that I owned BansheeHQ I was getting nothing, because I was a "nobody" with no voice I suppose. That's straight up poor customer service and a terrible way to do things. Everyone has been warned and hopefully will take this as a lesson learned. I sure will.
  6. haha wtf
  7. 78mm bore 18mm stroke.. DM 688cc nah, its a pretty weak hill. minnesota has the good hills. yes he did. he took 2nd place. kicked his bike out of gear in his second run so he didnt get a chance to better his first round time. 22" sti dirt trax.. yea, that jump is a lot bigger than it looks. it probably goes up 10' and out 40' or more.
  8. not bad i suppose, but i would never in a million years pay $150 for some stickers to put on my bike. i have some badass bansheehq.com stickers for $5 a piece that are a big hit!
  9. you make sure youre getting a good ground to your coil? the tabs that it mounts to need to be bare metal. the coil itself has bare metal that need to be grounded.
  10. damn, how did i miss all this shit!
  11. the only real good reason to use spacers is if youre having issues clearing the clutch arm. otherwise, you dont need them.
  12. did you try changing your spark plugs? its possible you may have fouled one or both of them.
  13. here you go man. this should be right at your price range.. shocks... http://www.elkasuspension.com/?q=node/19 a-arms... http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/WICKED-PRODUCTS-A-ARMS-Banshee-_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQhashZitem3cac881e32QQitemZ260592639538QQptZMotorsQ5fATVQ5fPartsQ5fAccessories
  14. what exactly do you disagree about then? you just repeated everything i said about LT.
  15. the increase in width adds stability to the bike. going +1 forward helps to keep the front end down a little more because it pts the weight of the tires a little further forward. if you go with a set of +2 arms, you will want to consider an aftermarket shock or even a set of YFZ450 shocks. the stock length shocks will be too soft and spongy for the additional arm length. a long travel setup is a longer arm that uses a very long shock to achieve more travel. those setups are generally pretty expensive and the regular rider will not notice the difference in ride between a regular arm setup and a long travel setup. what kind of money are you wanting to spend and i can help put you in the best possible direction?
  16. i talked to Lee yesterday and he is still working on it. hes tried just about everything.
  17. what pistons were in it? it will tell you on top of the piston. you may have to wire wheel the carbon off..
  18. never underestimate the power of BansheeHQ
  19. They have a practice day on Saturday, but I won't be there for that. The climb starts Sunday at 10AM. The ATV's are usually done by 2:30.
  20. I will be in Red Wing, MN for the hillclimb on May 2 at 10AM. Anyone who is close should come watch and hang out. Look for the new BansheeHQ banner when you get there. You can't miss it!
  21. 6K in the motor and he didnt even list the mods?
  22. stock. never heard anything good about anything aftermarket.
  23. 1st. im not sure why it fouled the plugs. i havent had that happen before. it sure did make a huge difference in how the bike ran though.
