  1. i bet it quit working right about the time we switched servers huh? is anyone getting them like they should?
  2. cast vs. billet? so what? have you ever seen a stock dogbone break? i havent. as far as the spring diameter goes, how big are you talking? and why would you run a larger diameter spring? arent the spring rates determined by the thickness of the coils? i know when i picked up my used rear elka it had a very thick coil on it set up for a +14 arm and 225 pound rider. i called elka and got a dual rate setup for my length and rider weight and the spring is the same diameter, just with a different thickness coil. the linkage is longer? id like to see the difference. so your rear shock is longer then to get the extra travel? i couldnt care less about the removeable skid plate. like i stated earlier, ive never seen one break so i have the utmost confidence in the structural integrity of the stock linkage. so for $600, you get 2" more travel? i seriously doubt that most banshee riders would even be able to notice that. unless youre bombing your banshee off some big ass jumps and have a stock shock, i doubt anyone is totally bottoming out the rear suspension. elka may run the show, but you could easily have something built for way less money than that..
  3. whoa, those are funky looking. who makes those? i like how far apart the paddles are, but i think they wouldve been better off if they went all the way across.
  4. ok, after looking at the picture of Elka's dogbone, i have to ask.. what the fuck is the point of it? it looks identical to the stock dogbone, except it looks all fancy. theres no way that thing performs $600 better than stock. i just dont buy it. what are they claiming it does better than the stock dogbone?
  5. BBC is making me like like a chump. he always says hes gonna come riding and then fuckin backs out. when and if he ever comes, i will have tight video.
  6. i cant answer for Ray. someone could PM and find out for sure.
  7. im really pissed they snatched my brand new m&m atv shirt. it was fuckin tight.
  8. here is the reply i got back from invision.. take it for what its worth..
  9. yea, i wouldnt worry about it. ive been running elkas for years now and they are a 500% better set up than stock. there is no comparison between the two. spend the $600 on go fast parts to go along with your new suspension. maybe a new roundhouse swingarm from Stellar?
  10. ive never run one but i dont see how its gonna be worth the $600 for anyone that doesnt ride mx exclusively. i think there are far better ways to spend that kind of money than on rear linkage for a banshee. the stock linkage works just fine.
  11. in the cab of the truck. thought the doors were locked but i guess not. this place is in the middle of fucking nowhere. you wouldnt even know it was there unless you were a local in the area. they knew what they wanted. 50 feet away was a work truck with about 3 grand worth of tools in the back of it. it was untouched. we are thinking kids that were there fucking around. even had the doors been locked, they couldve been easily broken out and the truck gone through. they could hear if we were close or not and bounced if they thought we were coming. its a fuckin wack ass deal for sure. ive left shit sit on the trailer tons of times before down there and never had an issue. like bigred said, theres no way they can wear this shit around here. its just plain stupid really. ill be watching craigslist for sure and anyone wearing a m&m atv shirt..
  12. andrew, your bike looks sick. those wheels are sweet. thats a perfect spot for the sticker too.
  13. glad to hear some of you guys have used Ray and had good dealings with him.
  14. man i dont know if any of the sponsors deal with elka. if they do, i have not heard about it. i have always dealt directly with elka. they are some really good people to talk to. if theres no one here that is a dealer for them, id just call them directly.
  15. things will be handled when or if we ever catch them. surely they cant be stupid enough to actually use what they got. we will see though.
  16. id start with a 300 main and work down from there to be safe. you need a 27.5 pilot for sure. air screw .5-2 turns out depending on what it likes best for throttle response.
  17. fuckers got my brand new m&m atv shirt. they wont even be able to wear the fucking thing so its useless to them. i just hope someone is stupid enough to wear my shit around.
  18. someone needs to catch a beating.
  19. Just put new wheels and tires on my truck and don't need these anymore. 20"x10" Mazzi Hulk chrome wheels. 305/55/20 Toyo Open County A/T tires with about 40% tread on them. No holes or punctures. No plugs or patches. Chrome has some corrosion but it's not real bad. Mostly towards the back of the wheels. All center caps are in good shape. Come with all 32 lug nuts. Wheels fit Dodge 2500 for sure and maybe some others. Come pick them up. $1300
  20. Ray has a new website that you can also purchase through. I don't believe its 100% ready yet, but you can take a look if you want. www.motorcityatv.com
  21. no overflow bottle here either, but if you want one i would contact JDSCustoms. he is a site sponsor and carries the relocation brackets.
  22. i agree. by the time the info is out, printed and to the customers its already old news. the internet is where its at. info in real time surpasses anything thats printed.
