Is your engine ported? Your main is really big, but would think 280-290 if not ported

If it’s not idling up or down your pilot jet is still too big OR you may have an air leak.

Sounds like pilot jet needs to go down a size.

Fireball make real nice long travel j arms and real nice swing arms. Good suspension after that (keep your rear shock it’s great) and as for motor just have it ported and you’ll be fine.

I have a 421 HJR dune port serval with 33 pwks in my parts bin i was going to build up. I thinking of changing to a play port stock stroke stock cylinder and going back to stock carbs in an effort to get more seat time before fill ups. Question to the guys who have played around with engine set ups, how much more gas will be burnt with a 421 serval with 33s and CPIs vs ported stock stroke and 26s?

The adjustment is not on the housing, its on the bearing carrier. Super simple to adjust.

Your CPIs are better on that motor

Your best bet is to try and find some Cascade silencers and keep your Shearers. They don’t make them anymore so good luck. for cheap you could try retro fitting another silencer to your stingers. Shearer silencers are shorter than almost everyone else’s if money isn’t an option I’d have an exhaust company make me a quieter silencer.

Swap coil and cut back your wires to the plugs

What pipes? Has it been ported? What’s the condition of the reeds?
