  1. https://www.amazon.ca/Carburetor-Overflow-Yamaha-Banshee-Stock/dp/B07VF83P51 seenthat hose connecting both carbs? That’s got to be on
  2. I guess if your in wide open places and don’t need to handle or turn it’s fine. if I could do it again I’d go stock or plus 2. It’s like turning a dump truck now.
  3. Parking brake causes it to not run, if it’s deleted and ran good before than don’t worry. did you clean the carbs after it quit running right? Is the hose connecting both carbs on?
  4. Also the tors is deleted and the parking brake is deleted? That can cause trouble. If you have a buddy with a banshee you could try swapping parts like cdi and coil. it does have spark right?
  5. I’m not sure I’ve never had an air leak that bad, I can imagine though if your leaking bad at the intake area there is a potential it wouldn’t start. have you cleaned your carbs? After sitting that long it will be full of crap and could have clogged a needle
  6. Get on YouTube go to SouthTexasBanshee and follow his tutorial on checking your harness, coil and stator with an ohm meter.
  7. Go for it. if you keep just wrap frame oats shock in a bike tube to use against the frame

  9. Well that’s good news about compression. you should make a leak down tester and see if you have an air leak. South Texas Banshee also sells them. no the pilot won’t make a difference with the starting. You should check out how many turns are on your air screws. are you sure it’s not ported? Is the parking brake and tors deleted? check if you have a plugged gas line or tank filter also.
  10. Well you might have potentially burned it down. If you came from an elevation of ex 4000 ft to sea lever your jetting should have been richened. Running those pipes I would expect a 270-280 main and a 27.5 pilot. what you need to do is a compression test, a leak down test, and find out what jets are in it now. Check compression first
  11. I think you’ll be good good as long as it’s not a massive elevation change.
  12. BansheeHP (Bill from Driveline) has done lots of experimenting with his set up, he added boost ports, 70mm bores, dyno'd lots of pipes, etc. Might be worth an email on here. Good luck with the build and post pics of the setup
  13. Sounds like your building something special. I had Cam do my engines, the last was a 421 and i had the same concerns. We went with 28s and a desert tank for mileage, its better on gas but i cant tell you by how much because its the only carbs ive ever used on it and its been riden sparingly. I just ordered 33s for it due to its hard to tune between pipes with these carbs. I am currently building another 421 serval and i am not convinced i should. I kind of toying with the idea of a 347 or 358 cub or a 392 serval or driveline setup. A guy out here has a 392 DL set up by the guy at DL and its real impressive. The guys at Driveline would do my next build over anyone else if i was using their cylinders, they have done some experimenting and i thought the results were excellent.
  14. Desert tank makes a big difference. What pipes are you running? Im asking because there is hp to find there, Shearers would make a nice difference on that engine. What Claude said, porting is going to kill your gas mileage.
  15. Also check the Toomey website for jetting advice, there’s great info
  16. Yep, I’d be surprised if your stock stroke stock cylinder main jet is over 300. If you have fmf fattys they like a bigger pilot like a 30, but I would def buy 27.5 also. Set your slide mid way and adjust from there. report back
