  1. I will have to try that out. Think I'm going to order new carbs.
  2. Gas is on hahaha and I have put new lines on it
  3. No I didn't do that. But did check them out. To the eye they looked good. I will have to go over them agen.
  4. Lol I have taken carbs and all electrical components off of a running banshee and still don't fire on the right cylinder. Even took out his wiring harness and tryed that. Just confusing to me.
  5. I know what your saying. But it has 105 pounds in that cylinder; has spark on both cylinders, and has fuel. Has everything it take to run. But the right side don't run. The only thing I can think of is the the crank on the right side has moved off of timing. Im not just shooting from the hip. I tryed everything I could before I tore it down like this. Read a forum that said piston could be cracked or washed out the rings. But it all looks good. I have built a lot of different motors and have never seen anything like this before.
  6. LILSTVN that was the point of it. Why are people on here trying to sell a motor for 1100 to 4000? When you can buy a complete quad for that price.
  7. Thier is spark on both plug wires. I ohm'd everything and its all within spec. And I have pulled top end off all looks good. Taking the crank in to get checked out. The only funny thing I have seen is that the domes on the head are clean like almost new looking and the top of the pistons have carbon build up on them.
  8. Tdod101 yes I pulled plugs and did that but no water was in the cylinder. Head gasket was good and jug is not cracked.
  9. If its such a joke Zillafreak tell me what the problem is? And I can find banshees all day long for 1,500 to 2,500.
  10. Ok I have a 2003 shee and I drove it into a deep puddle. It started to miss after that. I have cleaned all plugs and got it to run rite. It has started to do it agen and I have a buddy that's big on shee's and he has been helping me out. We are both stumped at this point. It's only running on the left cylinder we have cleaned the carbs 2 times and even put a different set of carbs on it does the same thing. Cleaned them also. We have pulled the wiring out of the quad and ohm'ed every connection to each one and it all looks good. I have taken the coil in and it checked out good. Even took my buddy's off of his running shee and still the same thing. Cdi out of his running shee and same problem. Swapped plug wires and stays in the right side. I ohm'ed the stator and it all checks out good. Even pulled the stator out of my buddy's and tryed it and the same problem. Even with his fly wheel and same problem. It has 105 pounds of compression in both cylinders. We are both mechanically inclined. Carbs are in sync. We have taken the motor out and are rebuilding it rite now. But I was thinking the piston was cracked. But it looks good. I'm scared that I'm going to rebuild this motor and its going to do the same thing. The only thing I can think of is crank seal or the crank has twisted. Am I crazy? Can anyone help me?
  11. Lol I'm the dbag? And your advice is rub one out in the gas tank. Lol. Yeah that will do the trick.
  12. Send me 3000 and I will send you a complete quad. Running.
  13. Yes I ohm'd the cap and trimmed it up. Pluss swapped wires and problem stayed on the right cylinder. Didn't do a leak down test. But in the process of rebuilding the motor rite now. Think I'm going to have the crank looked at to make sure its rite on the money.
  14. I think raguncajun is rite set on them and ride them both see what you like.
