  1. Brings back memories of mine. Except yours is a lot nicer! 1980 with a decent small block. 350hp 383. 38's. 1/2 ton running gear! Hunting/fishing ride I used to have. Father in law bought it brand new and used it as his Vet truck for farm calls. I rednecked it. Gutless 305 TBI with 3" body lift, cranked torsion bars, and 2" blocks in the rear. 33x13.50 LTB's.
  2. Do Not buy a Ricky Stator!!! If you don't want to buy an OEM stator than get a Racetech.
  3. So do you need a forklift to take off that clevis when you want to pull a trailer?
  4. Agreed! Nice truck but IFS is terrible. A person could build that 14 bolt rear and a nice dana 60 high pinion front for less than those big ifs lifts cost. That clevis is insane.
  5. I thought stock lights were 55w each? If I had it to do over again I'd just do a dc conversion Sent from my SCH-I500 using Tapatalk 2
  6. Hot rods crank stock stroke?
  7. I have a square plug stator on a home-slotted plate and a flywheel with a little rattle. Ran good. Pm if interested Sent from my SCH-I500 using Tapatalk 2
  8. I could listen that video all day. Sounds good! Sent from my SCH-I500 using Tapatalk 2
  9. So youre rejetting for the filter?? I would say do a plug chop to make sure you need to rejet. Or go up 1-2 sizes and plug chop. It may be fine. Sent from my SCH-I500 using Tapatalk 2
  10. No doubt! But it could work maybe. The idea reminds me of the old ford tractors with 2 stage clutch. OP- Where you from? I have two small kiddos and a lot of times one will go with me to feed cows or whatever on my utility four wheeler. I keep my right hand on the handlebars and left hand on the kid and ride it one handed all over the place. If you figure out the clutch you can do it. Sent from my SCH-I500 using Tapatalk 2
  11. Search man.. Why are you rejetting if its stock? Whats in it now? Search button homie. Theres a thread with everybodys set up and elevation and jetting. Put yours close to that and chop the plugs. Good luck Sent from my SCH-I500 using Tapatalk 2
  12. What about the cracked skirt? Detonation? Sent from my SCH-I500 using Tapatalk 2
  13. Check piston clearance. Cylinder diameter minus piston diameter. Sent from my SCH-I500 using Tapatalk 2
  14. A little bit of investigation before you tore it down woukd have helped. But now that its down rebuild it, split cases and clean very well, new seals and gaskets, and look it over well. Check intake boots for cracks or any obvious stuff lije that. Once its rebuilt do a leakdown test!!! You obviously need new pistons and rings. How do the cylinders look? Im guessing theyre tore up too? Sent from my SCH-I500 using Tapatalk 2
  15. Dont get a "kit". Just read what others are running with your set up and elevation and buy several mains around the size you think you need. Plug chop and adjust. I think I bought 280-320's from Fast and 27.5-30 pilots. Kits are more expensive than.just buying several jets. Sent from my SCH-I500 using Tapatalk 2
  16. At an idle? How much hotter? Carbs synced?

  18. That's exactly why I thought he was the same person. Terminology is very wordy and exact, like he's copying and pasting. I give no shits at all. Just wasted a ton of time reading all this so that's my input. AND can somebody help me set up a profile with the name registered user II ?
  19. Registered user you sound a lot like the guy that came on here screaming for everybody to get an OEM repair manual and all that shit. All the same kind of terminology beat on over and over.
  20. Kind of happy to read this. Why were people bashing Passion? He did my porting/top end 4 mil stock cylinder on my last Banshee. Awesome guy in my book. Helped me a ton
  21. At best he is selling knock off parts. But I wouldn't be surprised if he took all that money and just ran. Seemed weird right off the back to me when he made a big deal about people NOT gifting money. Like he had a guilty mindset already. How many people actually bought something from him? I looked through all of his old posts and a guy bought some of those levers off him a while back but he hasn't been logged in for quite some time. Surely if he ripped him off we would of heard about it.
  22. Heres one where he posted a link and "got with the buyer" He was the seller too. Was trying to get somebody to send some money probably.
  23. Damn!!!!!! This guy is a deep con!! He has came in here as several different screen names "selling" stuff. Holy shit it all makes sense. This is a pretty well thought out scam. Piece of shit!!
